Ozarka,I don't think you would need to have this resolution here in the Landsraad. Legally I think a demotion of a barony is an internal matter of a duchy. Actually, I'm fairly certain that the Landsraad doesn't have jursidiction over actual territory. That would mean you'd have to take it up with the Kaiser or with your Dutchess.Or, in theory, let a different Duke annex your land into their territory and then allow them to demote it for you.**Not an actual good idea. Yes, I realize this is my own Barony I am putting before the Landsraad to make a county, but I feel this is the first major positive step I can take to becoming respected around here. Despite the jokes I make, I hate it when I sign on a Shire-Chat and the entire subject of that 30 minute session is 'Haha Ozarka's an Idiot'. Plus, this is unfair to others in Kildare who want a Barony. So, here is the bill.1The Barony of Southern Hallucination will be reduced to the rank of County2Baron von Mons will become Count Ozarka Mons of the County of S. Hallucination3The Barony of S. Hallucination will maintain all it's lands, languages, Shirerithian alliances (as in with Elwynn), religions, etc.4Ozarka Mons will lose his voting and speaking priveleges within the Landsraad as is natural within the constitution and laws of the Imperial Republic5Ozarka Mons will remain ruler of the County of Southern Hallucination

Ric is right, I believe, that the Landsraad does not have jurisditcion over this matter whatsoever.Oz, if you want to have S. Halluci demoted, all you have to do is ask me.
