OK... I have a couple of things to get you people to work on... and an administrative errand to run... and... stuff...AUREFICTION!!!! (or anyone with admin who's reading this)It's a month since I gave him the throne, and Shyriath still has mod in neither the Landsraad nor the Barony of Straylight... I think I should have just pestered Erik about this, but now that you're Kaiseress you probably have admin, which means you can do the necessary changes to moderatorships. I shouldn't have mod in the Landsraad, either, since I'm a commoner right now... my mod in Straylight should stay, though, since I am still sort of a spiritual leader here...Landsraad affairsEven a commoner can be interested in politics ;). I'll be posting my opinions about Landsraad affairs here because it's not legal for me to post them in the Landsraad itself... Shyriath, you decide what to do with them.Friendly (?) Amendments/clarifications to the Feudal Holdings act of 2003 needed: In item two, why should a Shirithian residing in a barony be considered as residing in the capital of his/her duchy? Duchies don't consist of only a capital and baronies, you know. In item five, is "Any Duke can be replaced or Duchy dissolved by the Landsraad or Kaiser at any time" constitutional? Last I checked one of the only limitations on the Kaiser's power was that he/she couldn't dissolve a duchy... then again, maybe I need to reread the new constitution..That's the only affair directly related to a discussion in the Landsraad that I wanted to talk about right now... hm...Will to PowerAlthough the thought of wanting to increase one's political power in Shireroth makes me feel icky... I still think that we should strive to get Straylight turned into a duchy again. We have three people right now (which is three more active people than in a good part of Shireroth's fiefdoms) so assuming the Feudal Holdings act passes, we have a chance at it when/if we get one more citizen... which means... ADVERTISE! Make it clear to people that Straylight is the one place to join if you like happification... after we have the people... we'll probably want to push for a large-scale reform of fiefdoms in the Landsraad, so that each large but in any way homogenous geographic area with at least four citizens will be turned into a duchy and everything else will become either a barony or will be joined to other fiefdoms. I might discuss this further later...Titles are a lot of funI was just thinking of the Feudal Holdings act and of Istvanistan right before the creation of the Chaocracy... we had a sort of an ad-hoc system of titles of which most carried absolutely no power at all - they were useful only for bitch-slapping outsiders. Since this "government" was soon replaced by the Golden Dawn (which was then replaced by simple off-topic rambling) only two people ever got official titles in this government - namely, Stjepan (For Her Light) was Holy Akerfeldt and I was Creideiki. Shyriath, if you would just decree something like "Yeah, choose a title for yourself and if we like it we'll call it official and let you have it on your sig or even pester an admin to add it under your name", I'd be pleased... but it's nothing important.. "I believe they just installed Gentoo Linux."

Erik: Ah, goodo. I'd like to see a new post from you on the feudal holdings act discussion soonish.. I consider having the Landsraad try to pass an act that's unconstitutional (if I've understood it correctly, that is) rather serious...Aurefiction: Hm, that means there are only two Straylightians until he returns, if he does return at all :/.
