*Shyriath takes a deep deep breath, and dives into the waters of Straylight, using his long, vaguely flipper-like arms to propel himself. On his back, he has something that looks like some sort of waterproof backpack.Coming to a suitable spot on a nice, homey-looking continental shelf, he waits, preparing to build his undersea home the minute his immigration request is accepted (IF it is accepted, which, just to be safe, he isn't going to make any assumptions about).He just hopes that it's accepted before he runs out of air, because he can only hold his breath for so long.*

Well *cough* now that I'm here, I might just dive in as well...*takes the bazooka hanging on her back and shoots herself. Right after the shot, her body starts going throught weird transformations. She grows fins, a long, somehow pinkish-red tail... And finally become something that looks like a multi-coloured dolphin with a blob of firey red hair on the head... Starts uneasily jumping up on the shore trying to get into the water*Honstly, how dumb can I get... I should've gotten into the water first and THEN transformed into dolphin form.*Continues jumping up and down, crawling towards the water, and finally lands into it with a big multicoloured splash*All hail Quixy!*Swims off* "Never let sense conquer nonesense"-- Quixy the god of Madness.

* returning from the Landsraad, Ari looks amused by the strange ways of getting used to the Straylightian environment... and conveniently jumps and dives into the sea, transforming from a human into a rather unmemorable-looking but elegant bottlenose in about a second in midair, then continues swimming effortlessly into the deep sea after taking a good breath with his better lungs ** has a good look at and scan of Shyriath and Aurefiction *Excellent. Operation Rising Tide proceeds (but the sinister details of what Operation Rising Tide actually is won't be released until it has been finished)... This barony is growing. Straylight will remain loyal to Shireroth as long as both of these exist - but we will seek to claim greater political power within the Republic, especially if Straylight will still grow greater. Even more important than political power, however, will be beating the other duchies and baronies in activity, and deepening the uniqueness of culture that only Straylight can truly have! Aurefiction, I hereby name you Straylight's representative to the Ecco the Dolphin community. I can do this since they are not organised as micronations (and thus, this is not foreign politics). You can choose whether to carry that title here officially or not - it does not give you any real power inside of Shireroth. During the next couple of weeks you should try to keep the people in the Ecco community that you believe might be interested informed about the most important events here in Straylight and Shireroth. Don't bother to go on for very long - if people aren't interested enough (or have enough time) to post here after having been aware of the existence of this place for a month, it's unlikely they will ever become a whole lot more interested. I'm doing this because some characters there have shown very limited interest and might be recruitable to Shireroth if the right person does the nudging...Shyriath, I got acceptance for your immigration request from the Kaiser (apparently before he even read it) so you may consider yourself Shirithian... and, being that Artreus hasn't show his face (dunno why, but then again he hasn't really been gone for long), I hereby name you the Baron of Straylight. Most of the locals aren't so terribly interested in Shirerithian politics anyway, you know, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with the responsibilities that that title brings. Just remember to protect your underlings even if they don't necessarily care too much about being protected. Sponsor the affairs of the dolphins in the Landsraad and... well... be a good baron :).Artreus, should you come around... well... *submerges into Straylight as a bioluminescent organism flickering lights as her image makes it's way to the seafloor. Clamping to the side of a smoking chimney, and weaving it's tail around it's structure, a small volcanic eruption takes place and begins to spew nutrients over it's form. As the cooling waters wash over the hot, molten lava, the pillow-forming takes place as bacterial specimens begin their work on the growth of a white tubular structure.*Hi Shyriath and Aurefiction! And bye to, Ari, never really got to know you, but whereever you're going, good luck.Well Shyriath, I'm taking your advice and decided to come and check a few things out. You've also mentioned that some of the Shirithians are interested in maybe helping me preserve Shirlan, or dissolve it or some of it, or, *shrugs* whatever, we'll see, since, *ahem* you have opted to depart. Anyhow, for Straylight portion, Baron Shyriath, I can, for now, assume sort of a biolumenscient organism. Then, as things move, there's a creature that is known as a tube worm, etc. etc. but we can get into all that as time moves on.So, for now, as I ramble on and on, I am just a bioluminescent blob that floats around.Also, I have ideas for some sea goddesses/gods, so shall I indulge? A talking bioluminescent blob? That's a new one on me...But, yes, feel free to suggest new gods, though keep in mind, I think that BOOOMist Temple forum would be the place to get them officially approved. That's how K-k-kph-kree (or however it's spelled) became a god! Although he's already the sea god, so new gods would probably have to rule something more resricted... like one particular sea. Or maybe, instead of the sea, there could be a God or Goddess of Estuaries, or of Slightly Brackish Water...
