Hey, I'm going to keep this barony at least *slightly* active even if I am the only person who posts here...Looking for a new baron: The most pressing issue currently for Straylight is that it needs somebody to take care of it during the summer. I originally actually thought of just putting Straylight in temporary stasis but naming a new baron while I'm away seems like a better idea... This far I've only asked the good people at arkonviox.com and... well... we have at least candidate, Artreus. See the thread at arkonviox.com/modules.php...a46aeecb88 . And if it turns out he doesn't want the job anyway, well... I hope I can find somebody else.History: Erm... I advertised this sort-of-a-project to at least Jadie a while ago... but as so often happens with stories, I've barely been able to write half an opening chapter for it and it already sucks :/. I'm somewhat convinced that I *will* be able to make something out of it, if nothing else I'll just translate my current plan of the overall plot to English and publish it... in any case, I intend to link the existence of Straylight and its population of intelligent dolphins to a plan... er... hm, well, I think I'll leave the spoilers for when I've actually got the story written :). Until then, er, go on with your lives and be completely uninterested in this since the wait might be pretty uncomfortably long if you decide to get excited... I will try to work on the thing during the summer, but there will be long delays anyway since I need to submit the couple first chapters to Erik so that he can bless them as canon and... stuff...Postatkaa perkeleet: Er, that translates to "Post, you devils" or something... that is... I'd just like to remind you guys that I want to see a couple of posts in this duchy from people other than me, too... so... er, yeah. Post, you devils! New threads, replies to old threads, doesn't matter, if you have anything to say that fits in here, say it. While this is a one-person barony it isn't meant that only one person would post here...Archetype23: This might get me in trouble, but he's now officially considered a cool person in Straylight. Yeah, he's paranoid, he doesn't love Shireroth a lot, and he's definitely quite evil when it comes to dealing with micronational organizations that depend on everybody being good when dealing with them... but... he's cool as long as you don't make an enemy out of him. Then again, most people are (I'm pretty convinced that even Diga, however you spell his new name, is cool - as long as you love him and he loves you). I'd recommend that if you haven't dealt with him before, take neither mine nor Erik's word for it... And one more thing... I might get around to writing a longer introduction to Straylight, a bit like the webpage was (just so that you know, I deleted it because it was so damned rushed), during the weekend... or not... I have other stuff to work on, too... so let's just see what I will get around to do. "I believe they just installed Gentoo Linux."

Hm, writing that history just became even harder... after a bit of rummaging in the Fireball archives and Shireroth's homepage I found out that the last Kaiser of the Ly'Technomaezj dynasty died *after* the Grand Unification Bar's founding... hm.. this means that... I need to rip out quite a bit of the plan... "I believe they just installed Gentoo Linux."
