JUBILEE!To celebrate the formation of the barony, a massive jubilee was held in Everhyld City. Much of the barony's population attended. Lasting for three days, the jubilee was full of attractions, from rides to foreign foods and odd sites. Terminus Locke spoke at the closing ceremonies, announcing that Velouria was entering into an age of "growth and expansion". A few die-hard partiers are still in Everhyld but with many of the attractions gone, the jubilee is now a thing of the past. One jubilee goer commented that it was "almost as fun as the Millenial Jubilee", held a few months before.USTS MOVES INTO EVERHYLDThe United Shirerithian Transportation Service (USTS) has announced that its corporate headquarters will be located in Everhyld City. While the USTS has not been formally approved by the Ministry of Trade as of yet, company officials are fairly certain that nothing will go wrong. With the arrival of the USTS to Velouria, government officials predict massive growth throughout the barony.ANTI-BARACAON SENTIMENT GROWSWith the recent tensions between RS and Baracao, anti-Baracaon sentiment grows in the barony. Reports of socialists being lynched may have some validity says Terminus Locke, but nothing is for certain. The people of Velouria stand behind the Kaiser, but are hopeful that no war will result from the recent tensions, as harvest time grows near.
