umm... is this going to be an official acquisition? do you have land on the MCS map? Do we need to give you a territory link to your ezboard? if so, what is the web addy?I can set this all up once I get my admin, but keep in mind that a)counties don't get their own fora, and b) if you're going to be a territory, then your link from the main board will go to your old ezboard, and you can continue operationg from thereI think this is how it works, if it's not, someone tell me... Yes, as far as I can see, Shirlan will operate out of the Straylight forum, so please add note to description.As a separate issue, Shirlan has its own subdivisions, which now, as being operational within Straylight, will be submarine territories that would require a certain amount of localization...

Umm... as far as I remember, we only gave Fora to Duchies and Baronies, and they could have internal counties that operated within the forum...but I'm all for bumping Straylight back up to Duchy status. In that case, Shirlan could become a Barony, and there would be no question about giving it a forum.Does Shirlan have its own board? Can I have a link just so I can at least see what we're acquiring?And if there is anything about this acquisition into straylight on the Shirlan board, I'd like a link to that as well... Alright, the reason why I have been ignoring this submerge is because I got confused with it in the very beginning. Now that you have *finally* decided what you want - a barony and a dutchy... Cool, I'm very happy. The last question is: who do you want as baron of Shirlan? With that sorted out, we can get down to defining your territory, setting up your forum and issuing you votes in the Landsraad. Oh also, the merge makes you citizens automatically as far as I know *looks around for support* right? May the hasha be with you

umm... first of all... I still have neither the web address of shirlan, nor any pointers as to how to find it, nor any pointers to any fora or topics within the shirlan board that can verify that all peoples of shirlan at least -know- that they're being acquired by shireroth....as soon as I have those things, I believe we can start a vote in the landsraad... except that the feifdom law hasn't passed or failed yet, so I don't know how procedure works otherwise... is it still just imperial decree?and thirdly, I think that just to make it official, you should all either a) fill out an immigration form with harvey in the Ministry of Immigration, or b) fill out the census with moi in the Ministry of Naturalization (I would request that for your first time, you fill out the complete form). Either way, you should still be taking the census at least next bimester, and at least every four months after that. And your future Duke... funny how that worked out...So.. Here is my plan. We get Shirlan merged into Shireroth. It than becomes a County in the Barony of Straylight. It would use the Straylight forum. the... "Count" would not get a say in the Landsraad, or at least no vote. We haven't ever had counts before, but there is no stipulation for them getting into the Landsraad. And it's not a proper title of nobility. Anyhoo...That is what I think is being advised for. If Straylight got Duchy status again, Shirlan would become a Barony in it.Straylight is in Brookshire, so would Shirlan too be in Brookshire, under Straylight.That work? E. on that account, they can use the straylight forum, but also, as we have done with the other territories, we can put a link to the shirlan board, and post their flag underneath it... and as for the possibility of straylight regaining duchy status, that possibility would have to be pending the pass or fail of the amended Feudal Holdings Act...
