MiniEx Status Report: Menelmacar

The Ministry of the Exterior has learned that the Theocracy of Mediterranea ( pub188.ezboard.com/btheocracy ) probably intends to declare war on the Oira Arnanore Menelmacariva ( pub40.ezboard.com/bimperiumofmenelmacar ) later this week. Apparently they are displeased over its connections with Politika, believe it has threatened them in some way they don't seem to be offering any clarification of, and are hoping to expand their empire. All Shirerithians are urged to exercise caution when traveling in the Imperium.I think we might want to condemn Mediterranea for this. Although a lot of us dislike Menelmacar, people going around attacking other nations with slim justification sets a bad precedent. We allow it to happen with Menelmacar, the next time it might be someplace we actually care about. Or maybe we should offer to help the two nations work out their differences, although I'm not sure they have any differences per se other than that ToM wants to invade OAM and OAM doesn't want to be invaded. In any case, just thought you all should know.

I don't think we ever attacked anyone with no reason. Occasionally Yardistan annexed people with no reason, but that's just what they do.And we have treaties with both nations but they don't so far as I can remember require any action.
