Re: Another Open Letter to the Kaiseress
Before anything is decided, Stumpy, how about a meeting with the oh-so-mysterious Elders. Shirerithians don't take threats lightly, particularly those covered in a shroud of darkness. Let's agree to play on the same terms before even considering playing. ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

Another Open Letter to the Kaiseress
TO Her Highness Aure I, Kaiseress of the Imperial Republic of ShirerothFROM Paraxylsis of Dejavar, High Lord of Goldshire and General of the Golden HordeThe Elders are interested in the possibility of a treaty that would end all fighting between the United Armies and the Golden Horde. They are willing to withdraw all but five hundred of the Golden Horde from Shirerithian lands if I am given a duchy of my own. This duchy will be called Vylteria and will become the home of the Elders and myself. The Steffkes can keep their war-ravaged duchy if they wish. To PRH with them! I suggest that you accept their offer. The cost of the war is rapidly mounting. Much of the Steffke's duchy is in flames. Villages, towns, and cities in Brookshire, Cimmeria, Elwynn, and Goldshire have invaded, razed, and bombed from the sky. Over ten thousand have died since fighting began just days ago. Although the Golden Horde's numbers have decreased, the Elders are willing to send more troops if necessary. Lesser warlords have already taken advantage of the confusion in the riverlands to carve out small holdings. Farms, granaries, and markets have all been put to the torch, so the threat of a famine is not to be taken lightly.I emphasize once more that confusion reigns right now. I respect that you have refused to sully your hands in this dreadful affair as of yet, but now you must act. Three of your duchies have descended into chaos and this war, which began as a mere internal ducal feud, continues to grow in size and ferocity. If you wish to avert a war that could last months and, perhaps, even longer, than you should accept the treaty.Your loyal servant,Paraxylsis

Re: Another Open Letter to the Kaiseress
If the meeting does occur, I would demand it be so. We have no idea how many Elders there are, we need an equally large united front of representatives. That way, intimidation is not a factor. ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

United front... yeah.... that's it.... United front... E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSClicky Clicky..., Tiss for your own good ya know.

Exactly. United front means equal footing. Besides which, I want to know who these Elders are. The strings are there. Its time to meet the puppeteers. ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus

Re: Another Open Letter to the Kaiseress
All will be revealed in good time, this I assure you. Until then, be content with this--The Elders are a powerful arcane group that harken back to the time of the Proto-Machiavellian Wars. For thousands of years they watched Micras grow and change and now, for reasons unknown even to myself..fully...They have decided to act.
Re: Another Open Letter to the Kaiseress
I urge Her Imperial Majesty not to negotiate with terrorists, insurgents, rebels, uprisers and whatever you want to call these pathetic infidels. The territorial sovereignty of Shireroth and her Baronies and Duchies must be maintained! These "elders" will NOT dictate terms to Her Imperial Majesty the Kaiseress!

*shakes his head*To late did this come.....MUCH to late. They should have asked before they blew up our cities...now to much blood has shed to settle this diplomaticly. Now Only one side may win.

Re: Another Open Letter to the Kaiseress
Ours, with any luck. And I must agree that we must fight these guys, and not just because of the deaths. As Stumpy essentially relayed, the Elders have no interest in abiding by my request of coming forward. They'd rather talk through mannequin boy. Paraxylsis, why do you even follow them? All they've brought is death, and your reward has been an arm cleaved off. In the meantime, our side gets mangoes for free! So, let's look at things in perspective. Cleaved arm, or free mangoes? Which is better? ~The Solitary Poet of Delvenus
