Some Statistics

I've recently done some research...and I've decided to look at the Job/cit ratio here in shireroth.Here are the Jobs that I've found on the boards (not inc. Baronies):KaiserStewardPrætor8 DukesMoIaNMotEMoTradeMoTechMoMAA.S.T.R.O.Of these, MotE and MoTrade are empty, and I'm not sure if fax is still a cit, but MoMA is probably open too...and I'm not sure which duchies still have active, participating dukes.This all adds up to 17 jobs...not including unserious jobs and unofficial jobs...and no barons...and in theory, based on the above findings, there should be 13 posistions filled.Now, I went into the MoIaN to check up on the census that was taken about 2 weeks ago. We have 22 citizens, according to that...Now...several people have left since that list was made. Many are inactive and never come...I looked at recent posts, and those I can remember from the boards...and I've determined we have 8 active, participating citzens...some of these are iffy too...like PhilipMarshal, who doesn't say much, Baroness Sabriel, or Gryphon the Pure, whom I haven't seen in a bit...so 8 active cits - 17 Jobs - 13 filled (theoretically)...I did some counting...and according to the 15/12/02 census, there amongst these 8 or so active citizens 11 jobs....Well...That's the information I've collected...use it as you will... Hm... perhaps I should just declare that the duchy of Straylight is just an area of sea where a lot of dolphins happen to live... and since I'm the only one around who can (in fantasy) communicate with those dolphins, there is no such thing as a duchy of Straylight without me... Tolkien's themes of loss always seemed a little weird to me - everyone was always lamenting for the mighty heroes of old, and marvelling at the power of lost crafts and magics.
