Elwynn's nameI googled a bit to day on 'Elwynn'. All that I could find was Warcraft things... Maybe we should divorce Warcraft and change the name, or spelling, of Elwynn.WikiI think we should help each other out in creating a nice, informative wiki-article for Elwynn, especially since the pre-Ardashirian history of Elwynn appears to be more and more a myth in people's minds. Or maybe most of you want that to continue WebsitePerhaps we should start working on a website for our little community and duchy in Elwynn. I have to admit that my web-design skills are incredibly basic... If anyone would like to create the design for the site, that'd be cool. Content, let that be some collective thing, or ducal even. And money will be given in payment once economy's set up. Alternatively the designer can come to Tiverton, Devon, and I'll by him/her/it/them a few drinks So if anybody has any ideas on anything outlined above, please shout out and share them with us!

I wouldnt want the name to be changed, but I was wondering:Is there something that can be added to the end of the word "Elwynn" that would be like adding an honor to it? Like the Japanese adding -san or -sama at the end of someone's name to honor them. That way, the name would not change at all, but the addition to "Elwynn" could help it stand out when Googled. Maybe it would be best to leave the name as it is then, although 'Elwys' (ancient tribe of Elwynn), 'Elwynndale', 'Elwynnland' may be acceptable.Alvynaland, an alternative Swedish name may also be acceptable. I wouldn't have a problem with Elyws...And its not that we don't like change, it's just that you dont understand our history. Name changes have brought about serious riots before. Seriously. It may have been stolen from Warcraft, but a lot of things have been stolen from WArcraft. Half of the name of the nation is taken from Warcraft - at least two duchies are stolen from Warcraft, some of the old themes are from Warcraft, BO0O/\/\ism is derived from Starcraft originally, et cetera. Even if it has been stolen, it is way too ingrained into the culture to change. The names of gods and the like are one thing - the names of places where people have fought for and such is a completely different matter altogether.And frankly, I would rather steal from a fictional game than a real place. Considering that you have Byzantia, an obvious ripoff from the Byzantine Empire, (And yes, taking a theme from a macronational one, historical or not, is a ripoff if you use the same name) you really have no justification to argue, Matt.
