Thanks for the offer, but I was serious when I said "I would like to have a seat in the Landsraad". Ozarka, we should look at the possibility of a cobarony. It would be unprecedented in Shireroth but not in the world. Okay, then I am proposing the following contract between Port Illumination and Byzantia and the Duchy of Elwynn. (Modified from the Duchy's contract with Shireroth.) Quote:1. The County of Port Illumination and the County of Byzantia henceforth shall be bound together to form the singular Barony of Port Illumination Byzantia (PIB).2. The seat of the Baron of PIB shall be filled on a monthly, rotational basis by either Count of the two Counties in the PIB.3. This contract shall enter force on the day that the requirements of Section 8 in the contract of the Duchy of Elwynn shall have been met. Section 8 of that document reads as follows:"8. Should two or more Counties wish to associate themselves with each other and form a Barony, they shall make a joint petition to the Duchy. The Duke of Elwynn will then call together a meeting of all Counties to discuss the rights, privileges, duties, and other particulars of the new Barony's creation. The Duke, along with Counsel from the Chief Justice of Elwynn, shall then make a decision as to the inclusion of the new Barony."Ozarka Mons, now I need your support on this proposal.Also, the procedures in Section 8 of the Duchy of Ellwyn contract need to be completed. Hi,Glad you'd like to join Elwynn. What will have to be done is the following:2/3 of the counts of Elwynn will have to agree to let Byzantia join as a county, then the Duke/Steward will issue a decree signed by both you and the Chief Justice saying that for all purposes shall Byzantia be known as a county of Elwynn. (there will be no need to amend the contract)Once confirmed as a county of Elwynn, you may form a barony with another county, under certain terms dictated by the Steward/Duke (so that to clarify which areas of competence is given the barony). A contract between Byzantia and the other county will also be necessary (good draft you have btw ).But discuss this with the new steward and with Ozarka, and all things will be fine.- Ricedit: and no, i'm still not back... Only thing I don't like about that contract is the name.. Port Illumination Byzantia? I say just keep it Port Illulmination, or perhaps Byzantian Halluci (And I ask I be placed as first baron for that one first month, becfause I have some things I want to do.
