I freely take this oath, and swear to it:I, Dr Robert Davis, do promise and swear by my life and honour that to the best of my understanding and conscience I wish to and shall in all judgments render justice to poor and rich alike and render judgment in accordance with the laws and lawful rules of the Duchy of Elwynn and The Imperial Republic of Shireroth: I shall never, under any pretext, pervert the law nor promote injustice because of kinship, relationship, friendship, envy, hatred or fear, or for the sake of gifts or presents or other reasons, nor shall I find an innocent person guilty or a guilty person innocent. Furthermore, I shall not, before pronouncing a judgment or thereafter, reveal to the parties or to anyone else anything about the deliberations that the Court has held behind closed doors. All of this I wish to and shall fulfil faithfully, honestly and as an earnest Judge, without deceit and intrigue. This I swear upon my own body and spirit.I sincerely appreciate the trust placed in me by the people of Elwynn; for that is what it means to be a Justice - that you are trusted. Positions such as this are not "powerful" nor should they be "influential" - the job of a Judge is to see that justice is done, and that the law always prevails. Only those who see being a Justice as having a sort of power would abuse their position; I see it not as power, but as a duty. I have been, since my teen years, a Law Purist. Statistics will say that less than 2% of the world's Jurists fall into that category, the reason being that so few people truly believe in the law these days. I happen to believe in the law, and know it to work when interpreted properly and when adjudicated fairly. It is my most earnest wish that I will never be called upon to serve here in Elwynn...but should I be, you may all rest assured that I will pursue any issue brought before me, any case laid at my feet; with a determination, dedication, and professionalism you would all demand of me. Robert Davis, You have been chosen by the people of Elwynn to guard the laws of the land and to lead an institution that neither I nor any other person may lawfully interfere with. In accordance with the laws of the land you are the Chief Justice of Elwynn, and before taking office I ask that you swear the following oath:Quote:I, Dr Robert Davis, do promise and swear by my life and honour that to the best of my understanding and conscience I wish to and shall in all judgments render justice to poor and rich alike and render judgment in accordance with the laws and lawful rules of the Duchy of Elwynn and The Imperial Republic of Shireroth: I shall never, under any pretext, pervert the law nor promote injustice because of kinship, relationship, friendship, envy, hatred or fear, or for the sake of gifts or presents or other reasons, nor shall I find an innocent person guilty or a guilty person innocent. This I swear upon my own body and spirit.May the Sun bless you and the Earth keep you, now and forever more.

Your Grace,I wanted to ensure the people of Elwynn that I did not accept this position because I was hoping to gain power, but because I wanted to be of service. The fact that I hold no official citizenship, and was approached about this job (I didnt go trolling about for someone who needed a judge); those facts should at least set some minds at ease. I appreciate the trust of those who voted in favour of my appointment, and vow not to let you all down. WEBSITE
