Declaration of War

The Defence Forces of the Grand Commonwealth present to SNARL its declaration of war against the Imperial Republic of Shireroth and the Dinarchy of Antica, stating said terms and conditions for the afforementioned conflict.1) The defined conflict zone shall be set as the Terre Des Riches, Palastina, the Dyre Straits, the islands of Jaris, the province of Phedoah and the island of Nafticon.2) The war shall end in the event of A) Babkhan forces occupying Jaris, Nafticon and Phedoah or B) SPEAR-Coalition forces occupying TDR & Palastina for a period of two weeks from the commencement of hostilities. C) The conflict shall automatically terminate four weeks to the day from the commencement of hostilities. D) In the event of seven days passing without activity by the combatant parties, the war shall be deemed to have ceased. E) When all nations have made peace with each other, or when the conflict has become inactive, the war is considered closed.3) At Kaiser Los III's request, territory shall not be exchanged as a result of the conflict. Alternative concessions may be discussed however subject to agreement to the terms of peace for the ending of the conflict.4) Broadly speaking the technological era shall be late 20th century - early 21st century, though futuristic or anachronistic technologies will be tolerated so long as they do not represent an unfair advantage.5) Magic and weapons of mass of destruction shall be prohibited.6) The war shall start Sunday 07 August 2005.

Are you suggesting that anywhere else is out of bounds? I think it would be kind of cool for the various outposts of the Shirerithian empire to do battle with the various outposts of the Babkhan empire, although of course there would be some limited manpower issues.

Perhaps limiting conflicts outside of the main warzone to, let's say, no more than 10,000 soldiers per side? That would allow skirmishes, but keep them capped so they don't turn into major battles, thus keeping focus on the main zone.

Or perhaps we wait until SNARL develops a system that can cope with a system wide war (namely involving MRWS methods of manpower calculation)... in the meantime there ought to be limits
