What they said.I'm having a problem here...the normal parts of my brain really want to make fun of Earl in some way because he's Earl (not to mention a Canadian) but the diplomatic parts of my brain want to respect him because he's a foreign diplomat. So I guess I'll just say welcome to Shireroth, we're happy to have a relation with Slobovia, nice embassy you gave us there, say hi to Troy and the whining commies if they're still there for me, and if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to take care of it yourself.

We don't have a treaty with them - would we have to negotiate a treaty with the Hano-Pendronian Empire or would the one we have already made "carry over"? I don't know what would happen with the treaty. That's one of those things that will have to be worked out when working out the details of the merger.I think it might work best if the 'Empire', or whatever it comes to be called, just accepts the treaties already worked out by the member Kingdoms, but whether that will be workable or not, I don't know. I haven't been checking on the political discussion in Hanover. Maybe I'll go watch. We don't really do embassies...takes up too much forum space and almost never get used...any communications you have for us can go in this office. As for ambassadors, last time I tried to get that concept going absolutely no one was interested...if someone wants to ambassador us to Slobovia they can go ahead, but if no one volunteers you're stuck dealing with me. As for treaties, I do believe we already have a pretty comprehensive one. In fact, *checks list* we've talked to you, established formal relations with you, signed a treaty with you...next on the list is tricking you into becoming a Shirerithian colony...and on a totally unrelated note, here's a totally unrelated paper I want you and your head of state to sign about...er...getting free beer! Yeah! That's it...mwahahahaha!
