Greetings to Shireroth and it's good people,To the exalted Foreign Minister of Shireroth or whomever it may concern, my name is Atrius Endymion I, Crown Prince and head of state of the Kingdom of Aorist Island. We are a micro-nation with many roleplaying elements founded in 1996. But we have brought our community to the internet in order that we might grow and introduce Aoristian society to others.We are currently embarking on a global mission to establish friendly relations with other respectable micro-nations. I have heard mixed stories about Shireroth through recent contacts I have made with another micro-nation called Menelmacar and through other parties with whom i've made note of in my journals. Regardless, I do not judge people whom I do not personally know and therefore extend Aorist's hand in friendship to you and your people.It is my hope that we can establish strong diplomatic relations. Even though we have many differences between us, we can still be good friends.I hope to hear from you and your people soon. Heh... it seems you've already made the assumption that we can't love you because of your unofficial relations with Menelmacar, Mr. Atrius... rest assured that this is not the case. Truth be told, we don't care particularly much about Menelmacar - our relationships with the nation are basically all personal instead of official. For example, it seems that me and Scott don't have so much trouble with that nation while both of Erik and Harvey have their reasons to hate it... the Menelmacaris are a mixed bunch in the same way as far as I know. Note that the Menelmacar you're talking about is not the only one - there's a rebel Menelmacari faction at pub189.ezboard.com/bimper...enelmacar. The history of these Menelmacars is too long to be explained here, you should probably ask Scott (who's our Minister of the Exterior anyway) about finding the right documents to explain it... Yes, I spoke with a man named Archetype. I prefer to be straightforward and honest when engaging in contact with people whom I have never met before. I asked him to explain Shireroth to me. In all honesty, he did not say many bad things about your fine nation. Indeed, all he said was that he was banned from this place and that there were some hard feelings between him and a man here named Eric. He concluded that he could not give an unbiased explanation of Shireroth for me. That was all.And I believe I met your Exterior Minister on the Menelmacar boards. Mr. Scott Sisking is it? Siskind, actually. I wouldn't be surprised if he was rather sensitive about the spelling of his name, being that he was rather angry at the people who called him Scot once... The current status is that it's before the Landsraad and is passing but no one really remembers what the rules are for declaring a Landsraad vote ended. That's the sort of thing you run into all the time here. I'll see if I can dig out a worm-eaten copy of our legislative procedures and smack the requisite officials over the head with it until they do something.
