I am to go into Task Manager and End Process everything except for:navapw32.exe (Norton Anti-Virus)taskmgr.exe (Task Manager)aim.exe (AIM)Explorer.EXE (Fucking winshit)iexplore.exe (Internet Blowupper)and then is all fixed. If I get ads, I immediately go on a rampage to never have ads ever again, I've gotten so many anti-ad software on my computer that it's unreal, and of course some of them are actually counter-productive. I think I have found it! There must be some kind of plugin on my Internet Exploder, because every time I click a link, or navigate away from a page (any page), I look over at my handy-dandy Windows Task Manager (which I keep open -constantly- to the "Processes" page), and the process "Apropos.exe" randomly show up, eating up only about 2.5 meg of memory, but 22 CPU (whatever that's measured in). If I "End Process" it as soon as it shows up, I get no popups, but if I let it stay, I get bombarded with so many fucking popups that I have to force quit IE.I found another thing. Some idiot installed the "Yahoo! Companion" into IE, which has a popup killer. Whenever I get a popup from Apropos, if the popup killer is off, the window loads and shows me its spam. But if the popup killer is on, it seems that Apropos detects the window being closed, and just shoots me with hundreds of unloading popups on end. For this reason, I turned off the Yahoo! Companion on my browser...I can't fucking wait 'til I get my own computer... and can run Mandrake instead of Winfuck X-rated. Heil Loki!!!

great, and now it's even worse. It seems some idiot has not installed just one, but three toolbars onto IE. Now I have to deal with Yahoo! Companion, Search Toolbar, and ez Search Bar... which sucks ass... since every time it takes more than two seconds to load a page, it automatically redirects to the ez Search homepage... fucking Winspam...If I don't get Linux on here fast - or at least reformat the HD and reinstall Winvirus... I don't have anything to threaten with... but I think I'm going to lose my mind... I can't even play BlackNova anymore, since the page is continuous refresh or something, so it redirects to ezSearch homepage... fuck it all... Heil Loki!!!

I despise that. It happened on our old computer, a useless piece of crap (but with many micronational files that I suppose I'll have to salvage) where everyone just left everything checked, so now we have so many adware things running that it makes it unbearable to connect to the Internet, if that slow piece of shite could connect to the Internet in the first place.With this, I was going to be more careful, but my dad uses it to. For a while, we had this software which somehow manages to get itself loaded every time the computer rebooted. I had to uninstall it and about five other programs to get rid of it. Just take my last post as a statement of fact, not as an attempt to imply anything. I hadn't seen an answer from you for a while, you told me it's because you hadn't remembered to compose one. I put two and two together, understood that at this time using Windows doesn't really bother you and thus I should relieve you of the duty (I hate duties, even unofficial ones, and I assume that other people do, too) of trying to remember to post technical information about your box for me.I'll still be here, though. If it happens one day that you're really frustrated with your operating system and would like to replace it with something that works... post here. I'll do my best to help.
