Re: Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
so basically....if a country merges with Shireroth they have to submit to the Kaiser....and the Kaiser or a representative must have admin priviledges in the board of the merging country..or it is considered treason? Harvey's Elf-cat Kaiseress

Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act1) When a sovereign nation joins Shireroth, it forfeits its sovereignty to the Kaiser.2) The Kaiser, as it is His right and duty to be Sole Sovereign of the Nation, shall be given Admin priviliges to any nation's board that becomes a Subdivision of Shireroth. Likewise, he may request Admin to any board belonging to any Duchy, Barony or County, or any other future form of sub-division, that already belongs to Shireroth. 3)The Kaiser may appoint a representative to receive admin on subdivision boards in order to monitor their activities.4) Refusal to grant admin to the Kaiser or his representative will be considered treason against the Kaiser, and the subdivision will be punished for such acts.Purpose: Ironically, this comes from us leaving Tymaria. We had our own board and we were able to secede because nobody was paying any attention. This act supports the Kaiser's supremecy and helps maintain national security. -Gryphon Avocatio- Anarch and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Imigration and Naturalisation, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! Sucession from Tymaria? Was that actually legal to do?

Jadie: Yes. It means we can legitamately monitor terretories belonging to us because it is within our abilities as their holders. Having their own board gives them more sovereignty, and as an Empire, I think we are looking to avoid this. I actually developed this Idea from erik's thought that subdivisions should not even have boards.Gman: Yes, shireroth seceded from tymaria, though I don't know if it was legal...I can't remember...all I can remember is that I was in York when it happened and it was the first time I had decent internet access... -Gryphon Avocatio- Anarch and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Imigration and Naturalisation, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! What would this "punishment" you speak of be? Expelment (is that a word?) from Shireroth? Pointing and laughing? Mitä minä todella sanoin

Re: Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
I think expulsion would be if they were completely unwilling to. Perhaps loss of voting in the Landsraad if they are at first unwilling...really, i don't know...pretty much that clause means people can expect the kaiser to do something if people don't do as he says... -Gryphon Avocatio- Anarch and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Imigration and Naturalisation, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! I am going to have to think about this one for awhile. Question: You are saying if they have another website they have to give control of it to shireroth?

Re: Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
I have to be honest... I find this alittle hypocritical. They (Tymeria) didn't ask you to do this, and as a result you rebelled and broke away. Now you expect your own territories with their own websites to give you control? Please explain the flaw in my logic if I am wrong... but thats how I see it right now.
Re: Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
Simple. Tymaria was a fool. Shireroth is not. We saw the mistake that nation made, and we shant make the same. It's not hypricracy, it's intelligence. Their is nothing wrong with this act. The Kaiser is already supreme over the territories that he/she would be getting control over. This just reminds people, and specifies what the Kaiser can do. In a way to not grant this would be like, telling the Kaiser he/she is not supreme.. (I'm big on the supremecy of the Kaiser, so shoot me). E. (but I don't wanna shoot you)Personally....I think this law isn't too bad of an idea...but I don't believe we need board rights. Sending a rep to keep an eye yes...but the supreme power is here...we don't need admin rights in every single separate forum (if there ends up being more than one) Harvey's Elf-cat Kaiseress

I agree... right now I'm in a state of total confusion about Shirlan (sorry to break the streak of not naming current names), since they've been evidently doing their diplomacy with this nation more on their board than ours... and I have no idea what has been going on in many cases.... I'll write more later... Raised by a family of Griffins in the forests of Llanowar, this young mage is rumored to be the sole male born of the Serra tribe.

Mari:Quote:Question: You are saying if they have another website they have to give control of it to shireroth? Not exactly. They can have their own website if they wish. However, any message board they have becomes the terretory of Shireroth because the Kaiser is supreme. The admin bit is to make sure that they can't have any forum secret from us.Think of it this way: We are an empire, and thus, we conquer things. This is like conquering terretory, but w/o a map. -Gryphon Avocatio- Anarch and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Imigration and Naturalisation, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! Re: Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
Exactly. This bill asserts the supremecy of the Kaiser. Technically, it is his legal right to do such a thing, too. Voting nay wouldn't mean he can't do it. The bill just means that the landsraad supports the kaiser and sets down a legal law saying that any nation that willingly joins Shireroth admits the Kaiser to be supreme. The entire point of this bill is to set down into words something that can already be done.
By passing this, the landsraad would agree to these conditions, setting the government in harmony. Also, it would mean that we approve of that ability and willingly submit to it. It also means that we think this is a good idea. Perhaps it is something the kaiser has not thought of, and we are suggesting he do it by making it a law that he can. So, yes... -Gryphon Avocatio- Anarch and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Imigration and Naturalisation, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! Elwynn votes nay.I am sorry I think this is to control freakish! And if the leader of shireroth ever gets their ezobard hacked it won't just be a few forums in shireroth that get deleted.
Re: Kaiser's Administrative Rights Act
That's why I instated the 10 character minimum on admin passwords.. lets see....26 letters... both upper and lower.. so.. 46 plus spaces..47 plus numbers... 57 ok.. so at least 57 character to choose from...so any 1 character in the password could be 57 different ones.. so.. you have a 1/57 chance of guessing one character right on it's own.. now.. 57^10 to get the prob of guessing the whole password..1/(3.62*10^17) chance of guessing a 10 character password which employs both upper and lower case, space, and numbers... mine is over 20... so.. the chance to guess my entire password.. 1/(1.31*10^35)....(not including the fact I've only said mine is at least 20...so it might be larger... by.. alot.... hehe) Is my point being made? If people stick to the min 10 character password for admin accounts, than that ISN"T really an issue.. Control freakish? What empire are you thinking about? Empire's don't survive on the honor system.. loyalty and control. Those are two things that empires survive on. Not being nice. E. No matter how badly we wanted to, we can't go stand in the middle to keep people from being loyal to some other nation than Shireroth from plotting with each other. We can, however, be nice to them up to a certain point so that they feel that it is in their best interests to stay in this nation.
