Standardized Weights and Measures Act.
Standardized Weights and Measures Act.
Goal: To set a standardized system of Weights and Measures within the Empire of Shireroth, to be used in official documentation.Effect: The Imperial Republic will from hence forth use the Metric System in all official documents were mention onf weight or measure is needed. This would include using the meter/Kilometer instead of the Mile, the Gram/Kilogram instead of the Pound, and Celcius instead of Fahrenheit.(Personal Note. This may seem extranious, but as Minister of Trade I've been doing calculations and stuff involving different weights and measure's and since I have to do math, I've been using the Metric System, So I thought it would be best to just make it official.) Schlangen votes YEA with one voteand may I suggest kelvin rather than celsius... not that it's any difference in the deltas, but more things depend on K than on C Raised by a family of Griffins in the forests of Llanowar, this young mage is rumored to be the sole male born of the Serra tribe.

I don't know...it'd be much fun to make up our own system...seven freebles to a glorp...nine glorps to a neggen, pi neggens to a klarb...But since it's probably between this and the Evil System (don't know the real name, the one with inches and such), I vote YEA. Lesser Goldshire votes NAY. I do not know how many kilograms I mass, nor about how hot today was in Celsius, and I have only a vague impression of how many kilometers I would need to travel to reach my college. If this passes I will simply often have to ignore requests to give any such information that I do not know off offhand... indefinitly.
