One little thing...

Post by RicLyon »

Quote:b. Disputes between counties and/or barons over the duchy contract shall be the jurisdiction of the Provost of Shireroth. The Contract of Elwynn provided for having internal conflicts solved by the Elwynnese courts (impartial), headed by Rob Davis. I believe that the wishes of each duchy to decide on the matter should be acknowledged and respected. However, a neutral court should rule on the matters (say, Naudia'Diva may set up a neutral court seperated from other institutions of Naudia'Diva if it wants to, or it may refer to the Imperial Judex.Whenever a dispute within a duchy, for example Shirerithian federal laws or Kaiserial decrees are involved, then the matter would at once be solved in the federal courts (here!).Just a little note.- Ric

The Judex shouldn't handle contractual problems that aren't brought to the courts, so since your contract has a clause which allows it to handle itself you wouldn't have to come to the Judex.

I didn't realize you had an internal structure for such things. However if the legitimacy of that system came into questions, my guess is I'de have to rule on it. That's what I mean..Never use Federal in here again. We have no Federal Government. We have the Imperial government and Imperial Law... E.
