In re Ammending the Mango-Camel Pact

Many Babkhans wish that their relationship with Shireroth, which is a serious cornerstone of its diplomacy, be comemorated in a more 'serious' sounding name, like the Venceramos-Rastakhiz Pact with Baracao or the Argarth Perez Accords with Attera. The frivilous name of the M-C detracts from its vitally important nature.The Camel is not a national symbol of Babkha, it is a beast of burden associated with bestiality jokes, good for a joke in the bazaar but not something we want to see taken into international diplomacy. The title Mango-Camel is therefore deeply offensive to a significant body of Babkhan public opinion who wonder, frankly, what Aure and Rakesh were on when they thought the name up. Those of that opinion wish that it would be renamed after a place where Babkhans and Shirerithians have met cordially in the spirit of their alliance. Such a place was Rembrantplein in Amsterdam, where a good night of drinking, plotting (the extradition and extrajudicial murder of Ozarka was discussed and defered therein), and drunken musing was had by all.We urge our friends in Shireroth to reconsider and accept the proposal that was drafted by our allied diplomats in Amsterdam, and just be grateful we did not try to rename it after the Red Light district .
