Kaiseress,As an Antican, I feel we are entitled to Dinarchial land because of its symbolic value to us. Despite having a more democratic bent than our dinarchial counterparts, we are still their Antican brothers, and in the absence of a Dinarchy of Antica, we feel that it is up to us to preserve the culture and traditions of our land. We also feel that this is a case of a larger nation interfering unfairly in Antican affairs. While we recognize your right to legally annex (as you have done) the dinarchy, many of us cannot help but feel like that land is ours. After all, we are a nation in exile who have long awaited a return to our homeland. When we left our homes in the furious tumult of the diaspora, we felt that there would be a day when we would return to our lands to plant the banner of Republican Antica, and if the Dinarchy had survived, to coexist with them in peace. And while we may have had estates and properties outside of Platea, the city of Aquilaria was home to all. That is why such core territory is important to us. We are tired of dingy docks and abandoned warehouses, the crowded industrial wasteland of Nafticon where we have taken refuge, the festering rows of corrugated tin shacks. Even Foghorn, one of the wealthiest men in micras lives in a cave. We are tired of this privation, and while initially we sacrificed luxury for an ideal which has since flourished, the opportunity has presented itself for us to have both. We long for our homes and hearths.

Hm, by "our Zion", do you mean it's a land that's been occupied for a long, long time by another people, but you've suddenly decided you want it on flimsy cultural grounds and are willing to risk an endless bloody conflict in order to get it?(I have nothing against the state of Israel, just against poorly chosen metaphors)The solution proposed to real Zionism in 1948 by the UN was partition, and I am confident a similar solution can be found here, especially since we can both look at the modern Middle East and see what the alternative is.
