My main argument was simple. He's a citizen of long standing. The system says, loyal citizens get Counties. As such He should get one... and it should be Yardistan for historical reasons.. all the honouring stuff was just icing cause people decided to make a problem of it.James.. if you haven't decided based on what has been said already... ...I think all has been said that can be said.----From the wiki article on the New Feudalism"Each current citizen was granted a parcel of land--a County--to do with as they pleased. " I'm just asking that we clearify that Nick gets the County of Yardistan. And if anyone questions his being a citizen, I remind him that he never emmigrated, just stepped into the shadows till he could do otherwise. and if his merit of such is in question, I point to his years of service... Loyalty is more than merely saying "proud to be a Shirerothian," - it includes, first and foremostly, how much one is willing to dedicate themselves to the nation. While Nick surely was dedicated in the past, he isn't dedicated now, and if he isn't willing to come back and post once in awhile, there's no reason why he should be given this. It's the same type of reasons why dead nations arn't allowed on the MCS map as memorials anymore. I have decided, for now, to disallow anyone the County of Yardistan, unless they prove to be a suitable heir to Nick's Yardistani anarchistic tendencies. Should Nick himself return, I will grant him that land.

Bill.. you are an elitist fuck head... Activity != loyalty.... And Shireroth isn't more important than people's real lives... It's just a fucking hobby... Yeah.. I said it...Does that make me disloyal now too Bill? I had a real life for a while, that needed attention, so I retired for a while.. does that mean I don't love Shireroth? Shireroth isn't the most important thing in the world. Yeah, I love Shireroth, yeah.. I'm loyal to it... And anyone who questioned these two facts would be a git... But I know what is real.. and what isn't. My life is real, and as much as I wish it was... Shireroth isn't. So why should someone sacrifice their school work, their life, their chance to prosue their dreams.. for Shireroth? Bill.. Grow up and realize the difference between real life and this fanasy world we have created here. And what does it matter to you Bill. You are of Kildare... you have nothing to do with Yardistan.. never have.. except that you blaim them for the fall of the FIoJ... And incidently.. Nick and Me. By not giving Nick a County we have ignored our own policies on who gets a County. So does this mean when I have to slip back to the shadows due to work and life and school.. that I lose Monty Crisco?Bill, you're always the one saying once a micronationalist always a micronationalist, thus.. you can't argue that he won't return when he is able.Fuck.. This elitest bull-crap you are pull Bill really pisses me off. Is it that important to you to try to make yourself feel supior to others that you call them disloyal when they've been here longer, and done more for this nation than you ever have?Get a life Bill. Outside of Shireroth. And see where your priorities are. E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSClicky Clicky..., Tiss for your own good ya know.

Kind of fun that I am just saying some points, while you are reduced to cursing at me and saying for me to get a life. Says a lot about your maturity, no?Quote:Bill.. you are an elitist fuck head... Activity != loyalty.... And Shireroth isn't more important than people's real lives... It's just a fucking hobby...It's funny that you would call be elitist considering the fact that I have little power in this nation. What's to be elitist if you arn't part of the elite? While I never said that activity is not the same as loyalty, dedication is the most important factor in which loyalty can be measured. Someone who is busy in other aspects of their life and cannot be active in micronationalism IS less dedicated to the nation than someone who is willing to go far and dedicate their life to micronationalism, and to the nation that they are a part of. If their own nationalistic feelings for the nation are equal, than yes, someone who is more dedicated to the nation IS more loyal, because they care more about the nation.Quote:By not giving Nick a County we have ignored our own policies on who gets a County. So does this mean when I have to slip back to the shadows due to work and life and school.. that I lose Monty Crisco?Yes. If you arn't dedicated to the nation, you don't deserve to be rewarded a part of it. You'll still be part of the nation's legacy of course, but that doesn't mean that you do not risk your work being forgotten. It's a fact of micronational life, and dedicating land trophies isn't going to do anything.Quote:Bill, you're always the one saying once a micronationalist always a micronationalist, thus.. you can't argue that he won't return when he is able.I never argued against it. If he returned to Shireroth, then by all means, give Yardistan to him, unless someone already had taken Yardistan. People have to realize that they risk their work being forgotton if they refuse to stay and continue their work. That is a simple fact of life in micronationalism - certainatly true for micronationalism as a whole. If Shireroth was disbanded now, and all of the people in the nation quit micronationalism, the legacy of Shireroth would be rendered as meaningless as other people think of Jasonia or Blackrock today. The same thing happens on an individual scale. It's not a matter of being an elitist. It's a matter of being a micronational realist.Quote:Fuck.. This elitest bull-crap you are pull Bill really pisses me off. Is it that important to you to try to make yourself feel supior to others that you call them disloyal when they've been here longer, and done more for this nation than you ever have? For the record, I have always considered myself more superior than everyone else. I never called them disloyal, just that they don't care about the nation, and don't deserve land if they care less. Even if they had done more for the nation than I ever will, that was in the past. You and other people always tell me to get my head out of the past - now you want me to do the opposite?Edit: THIS IS MY 1337 POST FOR TEH WIN! You know.. considering I can't speak in text... thus you can't hear my inflections or such. The use of fuck (only 3 times) isn't that bad a thing when used as an exasperation or sign of strong emotion.Bill pissed me off. I could remove the three uses of the word fuck, and while it may lose some it's emotional potency, I still said the same thing. I was just rather passionate at that moment and thus used the word fuck 3 times.Once to call bill a "Elitest fuck head" ok.. that was name calling.. but I was pissed... and it displayed just how angry with bill I was.second "It's just a fucking hobby..." this time to add stress to the statement, I could have used bloody and friggin and gotten the same effect.and last a simple "Fuck"... simply an exasperation in this case, a statement of frustration toward Bill's attitude that to be loyal one must be active. and is complete unwillingness to accept that people have real lives that demand alot of time and attention. Also, harvey, ever consider that while someone may WANT to spend time even just 5 minutes.. they realize that if they did so it would turn into more than five minutes, and they would easily find themselves being dragged in more and more... when they really don't have the time to begin with to do anything.? Quote:And let's face it; the busy excuse doesn't count. If Nick cared at all, he could spend 5 minutes to write up something simple and put the whole issue at rest. No one has such a busy life that they can't spend five minutes if they care. No one. That's pretty much what I am saying. Micronationalism has very little demand on activity, that it is more of a matter of choice of how much you want to bother to spend your time. Shireroth isn't a very active forum in ultimate terms - I've seen way more active forums with more active people. There are very little people who actually write laws or the like. There really isn't an excuse to not write a post per day, even if you are busy. Check up the forums, write a post. Takes less than 10 minutes. WarVoid is apparently the only one here that I agree with, an odd disturbance in Time/Space that I'm hoping won't be the doom of us all. Nick's loyality and acomplishments aren't the issue here and never were. It just seems like a preversion of the county system to give something to someone who has no use for it and likely doesn't know they've got it. And let's face it; the busy excuse doesn't count. If Nick cared at all, he could spend 5 minutes to write up something simple and put the whole issue at rest. No one has such a busy life that they can't spend five minutes if they care. No one.I can't say I agree with the Kaiser's decision to side with what basically sums up to a whining three-year-old though. If I say 'fuck' enough can I have something too?Very amusing, none-the-less. The fighting is so intense and the stakes are so small. He he he. Maybe he could write something up and give it to you and avoid Shireroth entirely? Harvey SteffkeSai'Kar's Memories LiveJournal - ranting about Shirerothian issues since fall 2004.

haha, that article is very good actually. Although I'm confused as to why Nikki Sixx has a seat on the council, as Motley Crue falls in the category of False Metal in my estimation (and C.C Deville certainly does). However, there are some fantastic references. The contingent of people from Gothenburg (reference to the Gothenburg, Sweden Melodic Death scene which has been very big - although now stagnating - for the better part of the past decade) and ...."...Metal Roster, the list of true metal acolytes engraved in medieval calligraphy on gleaming pages of steel..."
