A Petition to the Kaiser
Aryez formally petitions the glorious Kaiser of Shireroth to annex Aryez under the following terms, which are negotiable:1.The Empire of Aryez is incorporated into Shireroth as a barony/county.2.Aryeztur shall give the Kaiser administration rights over the Aryezi forums.3.All laws of Shireroth becomes applicable in Aryez and all laws of Aryez incompatible with Shirerithian law become null and void.4.The honorary title of “Emperor of Aryez” shall be given to the Kaisership. Aryeztur Mejorkhor shall receive the title “King of Aryez” and he shall also be appointed Baron/Count of Aryez.5.All citizens of Aryez will become citizens of Shireroth.6.The Government of Shireroth shall inform the MCS of this Treaty and the consequences thereof.7.This treaty lasts indefinitely.8. Aryezi culture and traditions shall be respected. We kindly request that this annexation be considered. Thank you.

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
Dear Aryeztur,Seeing as your citizenship application was denied on the grounds that you are a citizen of Antica, which prohibits double citizenship, and that I as Kaiser have had a policy of "no exceptions to the laws of Shireroth", I'm afraid our regal response has to be, "Thank you kindly, but no thanks. Please try the next micronation down the road."Don't worry, I'm sure if you keep trying, someone will annex you eventually.Yours,Yarad,Kaiser.

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
This is not fair because you annexed Byzantia.Look at it this way: I am already a dual citizen, of Antica and of Aryez. If you annex Aryez, then I become a dual citizen of Antica and Shireroth, thus violating no laws, and changing nothing.
Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
It wouldn't be a violation of Shirerithian law, but I believe it would be a violation of Antican law.

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
But, as we are Shireroth, and not Antica, we should not concern ourselves with allowing someone else to break a foreign nations laws - we should merely warn them, and await their response. The first has already been done, we should now await their response on whether they are willing to break foreign laws that Shirerithians cannot be tried for in Shirerithian court (on the two/three times we have used it)
Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
If I obtain permission from the Anticans to do this, will you then accept this annexation?

Again comes If... If Antica annexes Aryez... If Shireroth annexes Aryez...

You will deny allowing him Count status, which not only adds land we would not otherwise be able to gain (stupid MCS), but a citizen in these stagnant times as well?
Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
I dont' think the MCS can stop us from gaining land anymore... since they granted so much to the GC... E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSClicky Clicky..., Tiss for your own good ya know.

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
You are missing the point, Eric, and frankly I find it rude for you to leave us behind, and as soon as you come back to start trying to dissuade citizens from joining. We got along without you, despite what others thought spelt our doom, we do not need you coming back as if we were on our knees begging.Founder no longer grants you that right, I'm afraid, since four years later, the other Kaisers of time are just as much for credit for the glory of this nation as the others. Now, if you would kindly stop dissuading people from seeking residence here, and perhaps start towards working towards a compromise, instead of flaunting arrogancy.

Please, he's gone for what, 4 months, and as soon as he comes back he acts like he has the right to dissuade people from joining Shireroth?Having Aryeztur join this nation adds more citizens, creativity, and activity. If a nation is not growing, it is steady, before eventually faltering. If your not adding, your subtracting.

Oz man, it's not bowing, it's letting him have his say. He has no more power than you or I. Honestly. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
That's not true though. If you're not adding it means your not adding. That's math. Chill man, it's cool. And being the founder he DOES have a say in what goes. He is the eternal kaiser, and long after we've all quit Shireroth he will be the one who, in his heart, will still care because it's his creation. I disagree with Erik at times, but never have I said he doesn't have a say in something because he doesn't post. You weren't around when he 'left', so you don't understand exactly what he's doing or why. He cares more than all of us I fear... There are no flowers, no not this time. Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
Well, since it seems that most people are in favor of Aryez joining, I don't see why not? The Speaker of Antica allowed me two citizenships, and if I join Aryez to Shireroth, I will have two citizenships, that of Antica and that of Shireroth. Let it please be done. The government of Antica has oked this annexation. Ask Steven if you must. Edited by: Aryeztur at: 11/19/05 22:40

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
Umm, Aryez? Two problems with this:1. The Kaiser just turned you down. And seeing as he is our Godlike leader, that means no. No mean No, Aryez.2. Antica has taken no official position on this matter other than if you become a citizen of Shireroth, you'll need to clear it with the speaker first in order to be legal and avoid ANOTHER trial for treason. ________________It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.-Andrew Jackson

The speaker did clear me. Foghorn, stay out of this.

Why should Nick, the minister of immigration, stay out of this? :/Either way, I quote myself from the immigration thread:Quote:Whenever I look at the situations Aryez has gotten to, it gives me an almost crisp analogy to Thomas Hubert years ago. And frankly, I do not want a citizen who reminds me, and is as much trouble as, Hubert, to be part of Shireroth, even if we would gain Aryez the country. As MINT, I highly reccomend to the Kaiser and everyone else that this bottom-feeder be thrown back into the cesspool from which he came. He will only bring shame and confusion to our great nation. ________________It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.-Andrew Jackson

Quite to the contrary, I believe it is time people stop listening to the wormtounge and leech who seeks to poison your minds, Foghorn, the cow-hearder and donkey-breeder.

Nick, I'd say you're getting awfully close to losing your ministry, and Aryeztur, you're getting awfully close to being banned. No insulting, or I'll have both your heads.I do, however, have to agree that, though I have seen no wrong done personally, everyone seems to be talking about it. Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
It should probably be pointed out that, reading their forums, Aryez has other citizens who have not been consulted about this proposed annexation. And the MCS can cap whoever it pleases. Presently we've capped both you and the GC on making more land claims. Attera too for that matter. Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.

Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
Aryeztur, I'll give you a chance to do this correctly. You have three (3) posts to convince me to annex your territory. If we do decide that annexing you is to our favor, we will decide on the terms, not you. And if we do annex you, the populous of Aryez must be willing to use the Shirithian forums instead of the Aryezi ones; they must also move their culture to within current Shirithian territory (unless you can find a way to allow the MCS to grant us another parcel of land); and finally, they must also agree to the annexation. Unanimously. You have your requirements. Now, convince me.I will also warn you, Aryeztur, that your opponents will also be given an ear on this matter, and they will be given as much opportunity as you to convince me.
Re: A Petition to the Kaiser
The people of Aryez thank you for your kind offer to hear our arguments. However, Aryez has decided, for now, on a path of self determination and independence. Hence, we must respectfully decline to join Shireroth, although we ask that perhaps in the future, this option is kept open. We can soon, however, begin talks regarding diplomatic relations. It is the hope of Aryez and our nations prosper together in peace.
