Imperial Decree #201: The County of Byzantia

On this day, Fishday, the 22nd of Vanchauslurk, it is hereby decreed:By request of Prince Vasroixe, the Principality of Byzantia is annexed into the Imperial Republic of Shireroth. It will become a County, with Vasroixe receiving the title of Count, and will act according to the laws and regulations concerning all territories of the same stature. It shall be marked as Shirerithian territory on all relevant maps.We are grateful to our newest citizen for the great gift he has given to our nation, and hope our reward is gladly received. Byzantia isn't on the map yet. We have to nag Ryan/me, pretty much.I'd also like to mention that as this is by decree, Byzantia cannot secede unless allowed through decree by a Kaiser, as there is no secession clause in a treaty of some sorts. Then again, no-one can legally secede from Shireroth, either. Unless we have some arrangement beforehand, of course.I hope Vasroixe is aware this is here. I decreed this because it was what I presumed he was asking for in MiniInt, but I haven't been able to get in touch with him..

Thank your for ennobling me and annexing Byzantia. Maybe now Byzantia will have some more activity. If you are interested in find out more about Byzantia, please check the website: spinther.com/byzantia/byz . First and foremost I think Byzantia will serve to increase Shireroth's multiculturalism and act as an example of the best of what a province of Shireroth can offer. I am not sure how citizenship works exactly, but I assume that to become a citizen of Byzantia now you must also be a Shirerothian citizen. If you are interested in becoming a serf or vassal of Byzantia I can make you one.
