Er.. it may have been an oversight of mine to post this petition before demangoing the rest of the Kaiser's court. Apparently I'm petitioning to the accused. Hm.Nevertheless, the point stands.

Re: Secession
And organization which, after careful consideration by the previous Kaiser, was renamed and had it's policy changed to become an intermicronational organization. It's not secession, it's evolution. If one wanted to throw accusations around, I could say that you are not only hindering Shireroth's international image, but are subverting the Landsraad by running to the Kaiser and complaining when a vote doesn't go your way. But we both know that's not true. It's just twisting words to make a situation sound worse. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Secession
I bring to the Kaiser's attention the following piece of evidence:This thread in the Landsraad strongly suggests the conpiration of Dukes James of Brookshire and Mike of Yardistan toward the most illegal, dishonourable, and treasonous act of secession. These Dukes, who, among their feudal holdings, control both a vocal and voting majority, have proposed and been the first to vote upon a bill which would grant a Shirithian organization diplomatic independence under their joint rule. This mere proposal is akin to an act of secession from the Shirithian government. As loyal servant to the crown, I bring this offense to his Niftiness the Kaiser for his judgement. I strongly suggest that, even should punishments not be levied upon these offenders, his Niftiness see fit to veto this treasonous proposal before it has a chance to be enacted. Joe, shut up.You're starting unnecessary trouble and you know it.It's an international Wiki, yes, and we own the rights to the control for it, but we still need to internationalize it.If you're going to argue this, I suggest you do it in a constructive way instead of slandering the names of two of Shireroth's most prominent citizens. Re: Secession
Renee: Meh, James has always been "of Kildare" to me.James: I -was- arguing it in a constructive manner in the Landsraad but then both you and Mike voted on it and, what are the odds? Your two votes together are enough to tip the scales unless every other person in the nation votes against. This is an unfair use of national power to steal from the Imperial Republic of Shireroth. I see this as a corruption of the Landsraad, and thus I appeal to the Kaiser.

So you basically don't like Shireroth's governmental system. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Re: Secession
Joe, Moose and I came to our own conclusions and voted independently of each other. Yes we control roughly half of the total votes between us, but we are also Dukes: me the Duke of the oldest Duchy in Shireroth, him the Duke of the largest and most active. As such, we have certain powers and rights, like voting in the Landsraad as we choose. And when we happen to agree, it's difficult to get around. But that's life.So I suggest you take your zero-vote and be happy with it, because there's really not much else you can do. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Convenient that this bill of which you each came to independent conclusions about voting in favour should happen to grant you two exclusive administrative rights over the greatest of Shirithian accomplishments in years.

Yes, convenient and ironic...or have you failed to notice that Moose and I agree on a lot of things? Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Re: Secession
Funny how the two biggest supporters of this bill are the two who MADE the wiki. Me installed and managed it, Fax is easily responsible for a good third of the articles. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Re: Secession
That sort of sentiment is actually an excellent reason not to support this bill. You definitely did a lot of work on the wiki. So did Fax. But now you seem to think you're entitled to own it. I, who made the main page, set up the graphics, changed around the settings, and had the original idea, might have something to say about that. So might Gryphon, who came up with the main graphics. So might Shyriath, who's been loyally plugging in information since the get-go (take out fifty one-sentence articles on Hunters and Fax has no more than many other people). The fact is, all of us put in work because it was all of our project. The Anticans and Natopians put in work because it was a community project not belonging to any particular people. For you to say that your portion of the work entitles you to own it, and to try and use the Shirerithian legal system to give the rest of our contributions to you, is a misuse of the gratitude that we all hold to you for your contribution.Oh...and if you want to be self-consistent, you should talk with the Anticans, Natopians, and I suppose Babkhans, since your whole point is that you don't want Shireroth making unilateral decisions on the wiki, yet you're trying to use Shireroth to unilaterally grant command of it to yourselves. Re: Secession
Then I suppose you'd have no objection to making me the sole administrator of the Shireroth forum with the right to do anything I wanted with it without the Kaiser's approval? After all, a forum is a place everyone contributes to, so it's not like I'd *own* it.
