I like being non-cedrist too. All I see here is just a pronounciation of the furtherment of Cedrism, and nothing in the terms of Soloralism. meh.All hail the new Kaiser! Ric: The Kaiser shall always seek the guidance of the gods. It was the will of the first Kaisers that this be so. Who am I, who is merely the latest ascendant to the Golden Mango Throne, to "desecularise" a holy position? Aside from this, I don't see that there are many other governmental agencies to desecularise. And even if there were, I would have to be given good reason to do so. Religion, whether it is the worship of citrus fruits, spicy chicken, Gahg, spoons, is a vibrant and welcome part of Shirerithian culture.I consider Soloralism as any leader might regard a minority religion. I welcome its presence in Shireroth, will approve of its growth and development, and will provide facilities for it if requested, but is there a requirement on my part to provide extra attention for it without prior requests to do so from the populace? The Multi-Temple awaits your use as always. Thus is my duty to a minority religion fulfilled.

Word. Although I do feel that it is the responsibility of the ministers to keep their pages up to date completely, I'll see what I can do with them... They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Coronation speech

Post by Kaiser Yarad I »

There is a storm on the horizon. For us Shirerithians, the storm has always been the sign of change. The symbol for a challenge to be faced and conquered. When we saw there was a storm coming, there was always the air of anticipation, of energy, the sort of atmosphere that always made Shireroth an inspiring and interesting place to reside. And I come to tell you all that the storm has once again been spotted, its dark clouds skirt the landÂ’s end, its rains have begun to lash our coasts, its thunder can be heard even within the thick walls of Shirekeep. It is to this storm we must look for the future. If Shireroth is to grow even greater, and to prosper above all previous expectations, we must meet this storm head-on, and persevere, as we always have. When my predecessor Kaiser Los III began his all-too-short reign, he warned us all of the godsÂ’ anger against the Shirerithian people. This was the awakening the nation needed to look around and see what could be changed. And indeed change occurred. We led the vanguard in re-establishing a micronational Wikipedia, we ran a hugely successful advertising campaign which drew in more new citizens in a short period than at any other time in the nationÂ’s history and we have discovered a philosophical aspect of our national religion which went unexplored before. But there is so much more yet to do.It is my intention to continue Kaiser LosÂ’ campaign for a new economy. To this end, I will soon be appointing a replacement for him at the Ministry of Trade, one who will take any plan for an economic model to its fullest. Whether it ends up being a gift system or a fully comprehensive economy, I believe it is important that Shireroth fulfil every facet of its potential as a micronation. This belief stretches to foreign affairs as well. For too long Shireroth has maintained a policy of splendid isolation, preferring not to concern ourselves too much with the outside world, except for a few worthy individuals. We cannot realistically expect both to remain at the forefront of our Sector and remain blissfully unaware of what goes on there. I will remain as Minister of the Exterior, a position Kaiser Los placed me in, and where I think I can still do much more work in breaking the isolationist barrier. With the development of the Wiki, it has been demonstrated to the full that a huge enthusiasm exists in the Shirerithian community for the dissemination of knowledge and wisdom. And yet our website lies unfinished, many sections showing incorrect and outdated information, or lying completely blank. To my mind, it is the duty of the Ministry of Information to fill in information if it is not forthcoming from Nobles or Ministers. Either that or provide greater encouragement to these august individuals to contribute. Either way by the end of my reign I wish to see the website complete. The recent forays into the nature of Cedrism have proved interesting. Even as Kaiser Los, I believe that religion is an important aspect of our national culture. This too must be further explored. The gods were angry when last a Kaiser ascended to the Golden Mango Throne. Let us keep them appeased by devising ways to honour them. These challenges, to face new obstacles or to continue tackling our current ones, are the storm we face. They may range bleak upon the sky, seeming far out of reach and dire to assail, but we as Shirerithians are well able for the task. The storm will come anyway, it is what we do to face it that will make Shireroth as great and renowned as we know it should. Do not let it be said that the nation once led by an Irish Kaiser was afraid of some bad weather! Go forth, and face the storm head on! Edited by: Kaiser Yarad I at: 9/20/05 15:12

On behalf of the Grand Commonwealth and as an ordinary Shirerithian citizen, I wish you the best during you reign. May you prove the disbelievers wrong, and guide Shireroth along a path of peace, progress and enlightenment. God Save the Kaiser!

Hail Kaiser Yarad. Surely you will not be Kaiser Yarad I until there is a Kaiser Yarad II, in the meantime aren't you just Kaiser Yarad?
