Dearest kaiser, may I attempt to change your mind? One, you are busy, but I have seen you on every night at least, HARDLY decent enough for me to consider you're reign disasterous in any case. Two, a critique about your policies HARDLY justifies, again, that you are doing a bad job. I was crituqued MANY times during my first term as the MoMA, and still I persevered and now people apparently don't see me as anything else. Even during Alejian I's reign I was given arguements and even had Yardistan in rebellion for most of my term, but I am remembered as the guardian and as a good kaiser. You're two for two now, Scott, and I still haven't found a good reason for you to abdicate. Won't you reconsider? There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.

I've been around recently, but I haven't really been doing very much. Moose and Fax have these great ideas that I know would be good for the country, but I don't have the time that I know I would need to help them implement them, so I'm being like "Yeah, whatever, do that if you want." I'm way behind on information and having to have other people tell me lots of stuff, which definitely isn't my usual MO.I'm not saying I did a bad job with my reign thus far; I'm quite happy with it; but I don't think I can continue that level of achievement. The only thing I have left now to work on is the economy, so I'm hoping to just appoint someone willing to let me continue being Minister of Trade and do that in my own way and let other people handle the hard, really time-consuming stuff.

I refuse to accept this. Of course, it is not in my power to make you stay, nor my will if you wish to leave, but I ask you reconsider. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.

The same. In my opinion, you've been an excellent Kaiser, despite what other people have said. PRH, I'd prefer if you would STAY Kaiser for as long as humanly possible - because there has been no other person that I could consider to be both as mature, stable, nifty, and dedicated to Shireroth as you are. We all are busy with School nowadays, and I would seriously wish that you would stay Kaiser. Don't go yet!Anyway, I agree with what the others have said, but I totally understand if you're having a hard time keeping up with everything. I would really like you to reconsider, but do whatever you feel is best....and whatever happens, don't name me as your successor. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

Impending abdication, and the search for heirs

Post by Kaiser Los III »

As you all have noticed, since college started I have had much less free time and much less ability to work on Shirerithian issues. As a result, not only have I grown very sloppy in certain things, but I have had to ask people to stop wasting my time - justified, but hardly a good thing for a Kaiser to have to do. A lot of people have found a lot to critique about pretty much all of my policies, I have not had the energy to respond to some very good proposals by my Ministers, and in short I have decided it might be best to cut my reign short now.I have two, maybe three people who I am considering as heirs to the Kaiserial throne, but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to consider other people (it DOES mean I'm not willing to consider people who have been here for less than a few months - sorry new immigrants). So I would like to do pretty much what Greg did before - ask everyone who is interested to submit a list of plans for what they would do if they were Kaiser.Note that, in between tying up loose ends and choosing an heir, I doubt I'll abdicate before late September at the earliest, and in fact I reserve the right to change my mind if things change and to not abdicate at all for a long time, but I don't think that will happen. Please submit said plans to my private message box. I'll give people about a week.

I am right now. You're off preventing radioactive epic poem characters from destroying the world (or so you claim).I'll be on and off throughout the day. Possibly this evening, but I only have a dial-up connection, so I have to pry my brother off the computer to get to the internet. It may be prudent to put things before the Advisory Council as well. Greg did that, and it ended up in your being chosen :P.

Well once the Babkhan Kaiser brings Shireroth into unholy union with the Grand Commonwealth the issue of dropping citizenship would be academic dear chaps. And the temples of Cedarism will be abandoned. All shall worship the Unconquered Sun, whose rays shall shine upon all of Micras (and burn up Bill in a puff of acrid smoke as he is a unrepentant unbeliever).

So, GC, that would make Shireroth the moon to your sun. And we conquer you, as per the words of Pink Floyd. Bwaha."Shireroth: Eclipsing your great evils one day at a time." Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

But the sun always rises again thus it is unconquered and of the sun and the moon we all know which is more important in sustaining life on Micras.Hmm, this is almost theological
