Re: Steward's Decree #186: Ministerial Appointments
It's because I opened my big mouth, isn't it?Sure, I'll do it. I don't have anything else to do at the moment, and as for my AssMInfo (doesn't that just sound wrong?) position, I can do without the title. Just ask me to do something, and I'll get it done.

About the sig, I honestly have no idea. I erased everything, re-wrote it manually, and it's still there. I think it's auto-added by the site.

Steward's Decree #186: Ministerial Appointments
After conferring with our Kaiser-in-absence, it has been determined that I, Fax Celestis, will be taking over the Ministry of the Interior.I would like to maintain control of the Department of Tourism within the MINT, but if that's impossible I'll understand.Tentative appointment to the position of MINT goes to VA Foghorn, unless he doesn't want the job, in which case I'll find someone else.By The Hand Of The Kaiser,Fax Celestis Blindness Is A Blessing

Excellent.I'm going to ask you to do one thing, as your first job. Just a suggestion, really.Do you think you could write a PHP thing for the Census? It'd make taking it a lot easier. Blindness Is A Blessing

I've got just the script. I've used it for a couple other sites, and I think it works quite well. It's fully scalable as well. Here's a preview of how it works on another site I maintain:http://www.foghorn.myfxh.com/testing/"Contact Us" sectionIt can be modified to include anything your heart desires.

Oh wait, did you mean something where a person can update their own information via a form?

Yeah, option 2.I think it'd be kinda nice to have someone be able to update their citizen information via a form, as well as (in essence) take the census to retain their citizenship.I mean, we may have to password it to prevent people from editing other's info, but I think it'd make a good idea. And if it could print the info directly to the citizens' page, that'd be tres awesemme. Foghorn - You need to start being on AIM when you get online. I've been waiting to talk with you about a few things, and this is one of them. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...
