We are not Shireroth.The commoners are not Shireroth.The minor nobility are not shireroth.The barons are not Shireroth.The dukes are not Shireroth.The Kaiser, is not Shireroth.We are not Shireroth. We cannot be Shireroth because we cannot be its spirit.And that spirit is love.That's all it's EVER been. Shireroth is a home to all of us. A retreat, a place for us to come together and have fun. We come here, because we like the people. Not because we enjoy the thralls of fuedalism. Not because we enjoy calling ourselves nobility. These are all secondary devices to help us connect. We build a board, we build a website, we make laws, we argue over those laws, the laws become our focus, we bicker over personal opinions, we hate each other more, then we forget that we all came here for.Community.A place to belong.A place to escape.A place to have fun.I can make no order to love each other; because morality laws are impossible to force because no one is god and human. This is not a plea to soften up or give in. This is a plea to remeber THAT is why we are here. No opinion is so important in a micronation that it is worth the alienation of a friend. And we are all friends.Words to ponder in these troubled times. If you will listen. If I will listen. If we ALL listen, then we stand a chance.
