Imperial Proclamation W1
Let it be known that during my reign no case concerning the application of or punishment concerning religion, be it Boomism, Cedrism, or any other faith, shall be heard hither in this my Court. Such concerns can and should be left to the specific religions. A case shall only be heard if, and only if, it hath bearing on the Laws of the Empire, or if it is an interpersonal dispute that hath no bearing on the faith it is involved with. Be it known, it is not my position nor is it the position of the government to affect religion in this nation in anyway.Furthermore, blatantly frivolous suits are not welcome in my Court. This is not America; ye have better things to do with your time. Should the citizens abuse the ability to levy lawsuits, the privilage may be revoked. Thus I have procaimed it. The other "lawsuits" weren't frivolous... or even real. We were just being Shirerothians...

Accually.. I was kinda pissed off by that.. people need to learn the difference between some place where it is appropriate to go OT and threadjack.. and where it is not. That was a legitimate case (even if a bit odd..)...and people made a mockery of it... (even more so than it was...) That's exactly why i made this proclamation. That angered me. The Kaiser's court is no place to be running amock. I'm worried the nation is going to turn the way of Istvanistan--we haven't done a serious thing in several weeks. Instead there was just babbling about chickens, a few treaties the Landsraad didn't pay much attention to, and not much else... I was being both... But I had a method to my oddness.... I knew Nick would throw the case out. and by throwing it out he set the Precedent the court system of Shireroth cannot try or hold any sort of hearing based on religion. ie.. unofficial seperation of church and state was established... Erik - you said,Quote:That was a legitimate case .. bullshit! File a case, hold an inquisition, take the matter up in your church – makes no difference to me. I wouldn’t have attended the case and I won’t be held accountable by your church/temple/religion – whatever – no way! Not gonna happen!Austi ScotThumbing my nose at your B0O0mist religion!

So you really think all my economic work for Shiroroth in last several weeks hasn't been serious work for the nation? You think it doesn't have any value?

I'm with Austi on this one. His economic stuff (with Erik's bank work to supplement it) has been one of the biggest steps forward our nation has ever taken. "The Lord is a shoving leopard." - Reverend William Spooner

Zee Kaiser said earlier in this thread:Quote:I'm worried the nation is going to turn the way of Istvanistan--we haven't done a serious thing in several weeks. Instead there was just babbling about chickens, a few treaties the Landsraad didn't pay much attention to, and not much else... I know I have been doing a lot of the chicken babbling and I know I have different view of what rebellion should be in Shireroth - I think it should be part of the feudal experience - but I thought the economic stuff was worth while. I'm sorry to have offended you, Austi. I did not mean to leave your work out. However, from a purely executive standpoint, very little has been accomplished in the past few weeks. I'm not really offended - but it's fun to pretend that I am. - so please don't apologize to me when I sound off - say something back - non-apologetic.... like "ah, shutup yus knose what imean" .. and how come I didn't get a rise outta ya with that rebellion thing?
