Please accept my resignation

Post by Scott Alexander »

Seeing as our entrance into the Olive Branch Community is going to fail, I no longer think I can perform my duties as Minister of the Exterior. My foreign policy was an attempt to promote peace across the micronational world, and apparently that's not the kind of thing that Shireroth wants in its foreign relations. In such an environment, I do not think I would be the best person to serve you in this position. Effective now, I quit. I think I'll stay on in Shireroth as a private cit but I'm not sure. In either case I'll probably be joining Babkha or like our beloved former Kaiseress.I'd be willing to help train any replacement for a few days if he/she has AIM.

Well fight for Olive Branch membership as a Duke, then, if you're not going to do it as a Minister. Good luck in Babkha, or wherever you end up. ZirandorthelThe Golden DarknessNiirus Tinenetuwar"In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to God."-Stephen Braveheart

I don't think you can do that...not accept a resignation...I think asking to accept it might just be a figure of speech...what are you going to do...tie me to the chair? And I'm very glad I'm still Baron, since I never resigned it.

Just being clear....WEll.. Considering you are good at the job... and.. stuff... Which I can't coherently say right now... And... that people don't disagree with the principle of the ...community.OK... Clear statement! "People like the idea, and the principles, but not the implementation...." I'd be willing to sign a less controling document (well, at least abstain, as I am wont to do so with treaties)... -Gryphon Avocatio- Lord Governor and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Research and Education, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! - Lover of Llamas "You're intense and driven. That can lead to a lot of good things. It can also lead to high blood pressure and a closing of the arteries." -Mr. Mathews -- "I think that people who drive Hummers are clueless, and that they just have enough money to advertise it." -Peter Camejo -- "Skanky-Deutch-Ho-Bag!!" -Mike
