What's the point of the Constitution if it can be broken? Plus its people like me who "whine" about breaking the Constitution that have heavily influenced American society (e.g. Affirmitive Action, Roe v. Wade, Bush v. Gore, Brown v. Board of Education etc)

Quote:Section C: Heir to the ThroneThe Kaiser before the end of his/her life reign as Kaiser must pick a successor from among all those eligible by birthright. Should the Kaiser die or abdicate the throne, the Kaisership shall pass to his/her successor. Show me where it says that "Birthright" doesn't mean "Born a Noble" or "Of Noble Blood". I think Jadie can appoint anyone she wants who happens to be a noble to the heir... ESPECIALLY ERIK. I am sorry, but I am not specifically talking about Erik being successor. I am just talking about the Constitution in general. On Erik and the US references. Maybe I haven't been here long enough to know what happens? *runs*

Quote: We need a longer Constitution. P Ours must be among the shortest I've ever seen. I take it you have never seen Northworthy's?the following is the first constitution after the Expansion..pub73.ezboard.com/fmiddar...ID=7.topicit was to be replaced with a version of Canada's constitution, but was instead replaced with "L'état c'est moi"Then all law was completly abandoned, and replaced with a judge systemQuote: Actually, we work better with a smaller constitution. That way, people liek you can't whine about it getting violated.exactly war trophy liberated from Babkha by the Federated NORworthic Liberation Devision (FNORD)

Quote:We need a longer Constitution. P Ours must be among the shortest I've ever seen. I don't think that we necessarily need a longer constitution... just a more effective one. One that clearly outlines structure, and only specifies those things that need to be specified *coughamendmentcough*. I think if anything we need to shorten the constitution. Since the Kaiser can create and destroy ministries at will, it is pointless to have definitions of the ministries in the constitution itself. those should be decided by the kaiser upon the creation of the ministry...... but don't change anything yet. It works fine right now, and right now, that's what matters. (and oh yeah... you can't change anything... kinda weird it took me a year and some to figure that out... must be the general aire of ignorance to old laws about this nation... I mean, who even remembers the first ten Imperial Decrees, let alone follows them intently... hopefully the Landsraad review and the creation of the Lawbook shall change that) Raised by a family of Griffins in the forests of Llanowar, this young mage is rumored to be the sole male born of the Serra tribe.

RIGHT!.. Who dies first?! *loads rifle*This is NOT the fucking USofbloodyA... We AREN:T a fucking Democracy...ect..I'm tired of people whining about the Constition like it should be the US constitution.. Hell.. I should rename it to a Charter next time I update it... accually.. that's not a bad idea at all. Than maybe people will get it through their heads. While the constition is in place, as it is, the Kaiser can't violate it. Though, the Kaiser can replace it with one that lets them do what they want..Now, you might also notice.. there are only 2-3 denied the Kaiser, destroying Duchies, Appointing the Prætor and setting Landsraad rules. Everything else is more or less fair game. Just because something isn't mentioned in the Constition, doesn't mean its illegal. Unless, the Landsraad says it is. (though the Kaiser can ignore that..) But as the Kaiser's word is law, a Kaiser can, in theory...Edit the Constition at will. So yes, it IS a slightly extranious phrase, but it does have symbolic value. Although the Kaiser could ignore the constition, in thoery, or edit it to allow them to do something evil... they don't, they maintain the spirit of that document..Oh.. yes.. and.. To those that ask if all this.. isn't the constitution just another document than? The Answer is a flat resolute.. YES! This isn't the fucking United States... (yes, I am a US citizen, if anyone is wondering.. and yes, I am loyal to that nation... just not patriotic...)But yes, Any arguement in this nation, that references the US.. in ANY way.. should be considered invalid. No where.. in this nation did we barrow any ideas from the US... So... right.. *arms rifle*Who dies first? Erik Mortis BrookshirePrætor of ShirerothDuke of Brookshire
