Out-of-context quote thread

I'd like to start this thread as a home for strange quotes... things you've said, or someone else has said to you, that sound utterly ridiculous when taken out of context (though that shouldn't count out quotes that also happen to still sound ridiculous in context).Here's one, to show you what I'm thinking of:"That would be very, very interesting to watch, although I'm not sure I'd want to eat stuff with beaver spit all over it..." -ShyriathOriginal context: discussing a kind of cheese I bought that is very dense and hard. Telling a friend about it, I noted that the cheese is normally cut into wedges using a saw because it's so hard; she replied that maybe they ought to have beavers gnaw it apart instead.
