Well, I've been informed by my dad that it really was cheaper to get an entirely different laptop computer than to replace the screen on this one... and since the dead black blotches of pixels on my screen seem to be slowly growing, it appears that in not too much longer I'll have to say goodbye to faithful old Deus Ex Machina. I've already started uninstalling games, moving files. All that's left is Diablo II, some image-editing software, the antivirus and anti-spyware programs I use, and of course the stuff I need for Internet usage. And once the new computer gets here, those will go too... and then we get to see if the RAM upgrade can be removed from D.E.M. and fitted into whatever the new one is.BUT, my question to you is this: how should I go about naming the new one? And if you have a specific suggestion, please let me know in this thread.Name it Deus Ex Machina, as you named the old one!Give it some other Latin (or pseudo-Latin) name!Don't be so formal! I name my computers....Currently I'm on Raynor (RHL9)...I have Tonerman a few feet from me. Rrakanychan is.. back home.. somewhere...Funkia died.. Gaelen never made it off the ground.
