I really can't hold my alchohal...
I've barely finished a single drink.. and it's already gone to my head.. I swear.. I really am a light weight... And I'm sorry.. it DOES affect my typing.. I have to correct more when I drink.....So yeah...My and alchohal barely mix well....if at all. I get drunk really easily.. and really fast.. than sober about as fast.. and get depressed shortly after that...So.. I'm single.. have been for almost 2 months now. Not that I've been trying to incredibly hard.. but it's really hard to get a date...doesn't help I can't meet girls in my classses....3 CS classes (computer science) 1 CS oriented math class.. and a Psych class that meets once a week, we watch movies.. than people scatter into the darkness that is a 7-9:40pm class..I need to meet more people... make more freinds.... keep myself busy... and focus on school a bit..As people have noticed.. I'm here a bit more now... mostly cause I have no real life anymore... it kinda died... exploded really.. MASSIVE EXPLOSION!... of.. patheticness...Yay.. the sobering up phase is ending... well.. kinda.... since I'm still drinking.. it's not realyl getting a chance... so we have gone to depressed phase...Kinda overlaping them all...I AM THE LIZZARD KING!... I CAN DO...... ah fuck it...I'm going to bed... but first.. more drink!WHERE HAS ALL THE RUM GONe......well.. technically I still have some..You looking at me?!? HUH!?I didn't think so....I miss being with Alex... I still Love her... Alot... damn the universe...And I odn't want any advice.. or people telling me what I should feel.. CAUSE I DON"T CARE! I feel how I feel... and I don't really feel like changin it... I feel how I feel. I don't care how I should feel.. so fuck you all! Ok...? ok. Right on... I'm gonna go to bed..... I hate the patheticness of my drinking ability.. but I like the taste of the few things I will drink....I proly won't buy anymore when I run out of what I got now.. which has lasted like.. 2 months... and I didn't have alot...GNIGHT EVERYBODY! *puts hand to lips and makes a kissing noise as he pulls his hands away* Erik Mortis BrookshireEricir Murtil ranna ChasemónCount of Monty CriscoRetired Ex-Everything.Member of The Programmers' Guild of ShirerothShirerithian ElderGeneral in the YAC

Life is a war that you must win outright. It's only a tragedy if you lose, and I have every intention of winning.Maybe alcohol affects spelling just for people with limited tolerance than. In that case, I have some abuse to levy on a friend of mine who thinks he is so 'hard' SF-SN

My face felt fuzzy when I drank my first time, but I didn't notice any particular change in my behavior(and I was looking for the change). They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Well, the only time I have been really drunk, I was playing monopoly and was having some trouble with my motor skills. It was actually hard to put my money in the proper stacks and to move my token around the board, and to roll the dice.Heaven forbid I would try to type in that condition. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

Let's see, what have I done...a) Started believing in the existence of a "1" card, as distinct from the Ace, and lost all balance completely. Was pushed over with someone's little finger and spent five minutes giggling inanely on a pub couch.b) Apparently started clicking my fingers at a waitress in Eddie Rockets, decrying loudly to my friends that "They call them waitrons here", and looking at the shaven-headed men next to us and whispering stage-like "I don't think they want to hear our conversation".c) Lost my dog's lead in a hilarious cross-micronational endeavour to walk her.d) Sang What a Wonderful World at a karaoke. That's it so far..

Re: I really can't hold my alchohal...
When I'm drunk (which is not too infrequent) the general pattern is that I will start singing, talking to myself (often switching between multiple languages), giving people hugs etc. That's mostly in the party environment. In other environments, I have been known to engage in deep discussions ranging from comparative electoral systems to the connection betwee suburbanization and drug abuse. Re: I really can't hold my alchohal...
I can't drink yet...but I know I will when I get the chance...Despite the fact that I depise those who take the easy way out, intoxication is far too tempting to resist...Thankfully, I'll probably be quietly drunk when I do. The first step is admitting I have a problem.
Re: I really can't hold my alchohal...
Don't bother if you don't wanna. It's not that great. I never really drank (save once) till I turned 21... And even than.. not that much.. well... mostly... I've decided once I run out of what I got. I won't buy anymore, lest it is wine for cooking.. E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSClicky Clicky..., Tiss for your own good ya know.

Drinking on its own isn't very special.Drinking with friends can be extremely enjoyable though. It very much depends on the setting. SF-SN

Re: I really can't hold my alchohal...
Actually, one of the things I was looking forward to when I turned 21 was being able to buy my own wine for cooking. I got carded last year for trying to buy cooking wine on my way to go cook spaghetti. The stuff's so salty it would take incredible willpower to get drunk off of it, assuming you didn't throw up first. It's essentially undrinkable as it is. *sigh* And it's apparently really easy to get drunk off of Listerine (and cough syrup, and extracts, etc.), and you don't see them carding for that.*wanders off, mumbling* *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!
Re: I really can't hold my alchohal...
Cooking wine? Basically you need good wine for cooking, the one's that taste like shite make the food taste like shite.

Re: I really can't hold my alchohal...
Well, I was 19 at the time, and it was one of the better cooking wines, and I was stuck buying it myself at the time (or not, as the case may be). I only use normal, decent wine for sticking in sauces now that I can get my hands on it. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

I simply waited till I turned 21... And got some Wines to use... I oughta open up the Shireroth School of the Culinary Arts again and teach my cooking style and recipes that I've created... E. A creed I myself try to follow word-for-word every day.I look at life like it is a military campaign. Each action is a maneuvre, poising your army for a tactful strike at a certain point of the battlefield. The war never ends. Your objective must simply be to keep winning each battle until life ends, not from defeat, but from natural causes in old age.But life is fairly good now. Lord knows what I'll say if my love life goes down the shithole at some point in the future... But I will say one thing - I am doing everything in my power to secure for myself and my loved ones a good future and to be a good person & partner for my (hopefully) future wife. I believe I will be successful. But only time will reveal that. This is not advice, this is just me rambling on in hopes for my own uncertain future... Useless art is simply tolerated vandalism. I am a vandal.

Alcohol makes the experience of life so much greater. Stjepan's anecdotes about talking in foreign languages matches me too, though weirdly I always seem to be out with people who actually speak those languages that I know well enough to talk in randomly (Spanish, German and Chinese). I remember once meeting someone who spoke Spanish at a flatwarming ('Apartment warming' for you filthy capitalists in the United States), and then I ran into a Jewish Pole who spoke German, then a huge crowd of Germans suddenly came into the party, that was fucking bizarre, then again various things of slightly more potency than alcohol made me a lot more foward to speak those languages to them than usual circumstances .
