What a bummer. So I went down to the laundry room to do my laundry, but after I put the detergent in and went to swipe my card, I was informed by the insidious little wormmachine that I had insufficient funds! What treachery!So I journeyed in the same clothes I had slept in to the student center to see if I could put some money on my card! But no! They tell me I have to go all the way across the river to New Brunswick! So in the clothes I had slept in, I walked to the bus station, and went all the way to a complete other town - just so I could do my laundry!Then when I got there, I was told that there was an office that I could do what I wanted in back in the town I started in! What use are these Student Center fiends!!! So now I spent some about TWO hours being bounced around different bureaucratic offices JUST TO PUT MONEY ON MY CARD IN ORDER TO DO LAUNDRY!Oh yeah, and OF COURSE I ran into people I knew from highschool in the process. How embarassing...--------------------------------------------------------------------Know this, O Shirithians! Your only hope of salvation is to add us to your ezRing post-haste. Very well!For the past several months, I've been noting that it has become increasingly impossible for me to sit down at a computer and just write a paper. Really quite problematic as this semester I have about *counts* at least 10 with another one being a realistic possibility.But recently, after analyzing the causes for my inefficiency, I came up with a brilliant solution! I would simply write them in the computer lab as opposed to at my own computer because there are far fewer distractions! I managed to finish my last paper (due on 27 October) in record time, and hope to do the same with the next (due on 1 November).It is slightly problematic that I can't get much work done during the actual week as I tend to finish with classes at 9pm, so it is essential that I work effectively this weekend. Exactly. Tactics need to be flexible And here is your funny story I was at a party last night that my friend was having at his house. As usual, there were hordes of people there. But, usually it is the case that everyone knows at least a few people so there is never anyone out of place.Last night was a little differentSome really big guy came in, got fucking drunk as hell and started doing shit like lifting up the skirts of girls he didn't know. I actually wasn't there at the time, but came back later and was told that, btw. By the time I did get back, he was passed out on the couch. Out cold.The party was ended and this guy was just completely nonresponsive. No one had the slightest idea who he was, and we tried a bunch of things to wake him up. Flashlight in the face, pulling him off the couch, hitting him with shit....nothing. no good.At least we know he wasn't dead because he was at least reacting in kind of a subconscious way (tried to brush people away to lie back down, almost vomited on the couch too). I don't yet know how the story ends though, as the guys who own the house asked the rest of us to leave while they figured out what to do. It was a good idea because of this drunk as hell asian chick who was jumping all over the guy to wake him up.But anyway, thanks for the link.
