Alright, so I've more or less covered the ministry pages part of my campeign, now it's time to move on to duchies.First, I will remove the links to the now-dead duchies on the front page, although any website still existing for them on the Shireroth server shall be saved.Next, I'ma run through the website to make any changes to pages as is needed. Global update, more or less.But on to the reason for this announcement: The new Duchies will need to create some sort of webpage for themselves and submit them. No, no nifty little webpage wizard for j00. The multipage nature of Duchy pages is just too complicated for a PHP wizard, with my current skills.As for guidelines, you must have a link back to the Shireroth index at the bottom or somewhere on every page.Each duchy has it's own directory on subdivisions.shireroth.org . All the media used on your duchy site will be stored in said directory. They're basic directory names ("yardistan","kildare","brookshire" respectively) so use that if you want to link to anything within there or use images.Other than that, go wild and crazy. May I suggest that Baronies and Counties, etc. be in separate directories, rather than subdirectories of the Duchies, considering they switch around well enough? It would be an easy way to keep the links mostly static.That is, subdivisions.shireroth.org/elwynn for the Barony of Elwynn, ...oth.org/amity and ...oth.org/mirioth for the Barony of Amity and Mirioth, etc? Dude. How many Baronies are there that have become Duchies and vice versa?There's no reason not to give them hosting, really. It's only a cultural thing, anyway. Baronies come and go too quickly. If a Barony wants a website, it can make one and submit it and I'll add it, but the Duchies are the only ones required to have some sort of website. And Baronies won't get linked on the main page, but instead either in their Duchy's page or in their forum. Hypatia's Mom: Yay!
