The number four contains four angles. This is a property unshared by any other number. That is, if 4 is written as the Arabic language intended, without the little tailey bit. Without that benighted tail, the number four has the proper amount of angles.A rather ingenious way of creating numbers, actually. 0 has zero angles, of course, and 1, which is correctly written without the line at the bottom, has one. 2 is meant to be written as Z, 3 as a backwards sigma, 4 without a tail, 5 more squared, 6 more squared, 7 with both middle and bottom lines, 8 like two triangles, 9 with a little curl at the bottom, and that's the amazing Arabic system of numbers.I think that deserves at least a gold star, and at most the thankless title of today's riddle winner for being so informative, whether I'm right or not. Gryphon was right. Four is the only number that has the same number of letters as itself.Would people dislike riddles that are actually mathematical? Because I've been finding a lot of them - but I think they might not be as "fun".
