I heard a story about a micronationalist whose prospective employers ran a Google search for his name and found his micronational career, and, while it turned out okay for him, I'd rather not have to worry about that kind of thing - especially since I recently had some friends who I did not really want to know about my micronationalism discover it through the same means.Thus, my last name is now gone, and I'm now just plain Scott of Hyperborea. Once upon a time my work supervisor found out about my mn's habit from my (in retrospect totally foolish) misuse of the companies internet access. I believe his comment on the subject was to the effect whatever issues I had he would rather that I addressed them outside of work hours... later when I got slack he reminded me how easily he could have humiliated me in front of the entire workforce with proof of my internet habits... it had the desired effect.
