Slow news day Kidding! It's a rare event when micronationalists are able to see each other irl... the whole Sonoma thing was just a fluke.

I don't know, considering how many of these crazy micronationalists all live in and around the area I'm in, it seems odd that more of us haven't just randomly bumped into each other. "Disce quasi semper victurus; vive quasi cras moriturus"

Re: So....
Though shireroth is getting pretty good at getting RL interaction between members. and not just the Sonoma folk. Scott met Locke. Scott met all us in CA. Zary came up to sonoma. ect.. Hell we even had DStryker for a few hours back in the 7th republic. And Harvey. We got him over here for the Convention. HEll.. The Convention. (Will be held in September) we try to get as many Shirerithians both past and present together. eventually we'll have to start putting them up in Hotels...or something.. I'm just suprised that Zary and I haven't bumped into each other before. In fact, we probably have, considering I work literally three blocks from his house. So, if god is falliable, does that mean that this universe (or plane of existence, depending on your style of thought) could be nothing more than a metaphysical trashcan?Platypi point to this being true.

Re: So....
Which was quite a surprise to learn that was a crazy micronationalist that, as he said, worked three blocks down from where I lived. Cause chances are he's driven right past me as I walked down that street over to the CalTrain stop. "Disce quasi semper victurus; vive quasi cras moriturus"

I don't know, there are a /lot/ of strange people in SF, that may be why I blended in so well. "Disce quasi semper victurus; vive quasi cras moriturus"

No, those would be my pet "sheep." So, if god is falliable, does that mean that this universe (or plane of existence, depending on your style of thought) could be nothing more than a metaphysical trashcan?Platypi point to this being true.

Re: So....
If you ever want to see me in real life, you'd better make any such Shireroth-con coincide with, like, E3 or the GDC. Las Vegas is also a good place for cons, as long as you try to claim the convention center in the off-season, or else you'll end up competing with something like CES or the Pornography Convention. As for not bumping into each other: California is only the size of Japan.

That can't be right? unless you meant pop wise or something...Because Japan, NZ and UK are roughly the same size land wise, and I think Cali is a LOT bigger

Re: So....
My original bumping into each other refers to an area considerably smaller than Japan, though. It was in reference to the Shirerothians in and around (going to school or living or both...) the same area. Well, more specifically, the oddness of some of us crazy micronationalists who /don't/ live at Sonoma (Which is an even /smaller/ area still) yet still live in areas others of us are in frequently... sometimes down to frequenting the exact same street. Re: So....
Must be something in the local psionic background vibration.(saying that it must be something in the water would be just... wrong) Do you really believe Project Bluebook revealed EVERYTHING the Army Air Corps knew? Do you know what REALLY happened at Roswell, New Mexico in the late 1940s? Have you even heard about the Men in Black? Do you have any friends who have `missing days'? Do you sleep with your window unlocked?Be seeing you...

Because the things in the water are dolphins, and they seem to be clustering around northern europe, for some bizarre reason. Oh look, a Thing Of Beauty. Let's blow it up.--Advocate of B0O0/\/\ism--
