Redesign Proposal

Past few days I've been working on a possible redesign for our forum. I've made a sort-of-but-not-really banner, gotten a better non-tiling background together, changed the unread post icon, and gotten a little news feature up. It can be seen here (note that I am NOT suggesting changing the forum names or descriptions to these; I just used an old forum I had control over to test this)Keep in mind that accepting this will FINALLY stop years of people hating our forum and refusing to have anything to do with us because they can't stand being on our board for more than a few minutes.Note: Only the main board is right. Gah, you're right. I must've been thinking of someone else...mmm...maybe the Aorists? Ryan gave them a panorama background. I tried giving the forum a border, but I didn't like the way it looked.By the way, the colors in the actual threads there are NOT my recommendation for changes - I just didn't bother getting them to look right. Very Sexy. However, I propose a few things:1) Give the shriveled orange bell pepper image a transparent background so it doesn't look like crap on the alternating coloured posts.2) Find some way to incorporate the Malarbor image we are using currently as the background... maybe crop off the face and put it on the right side of Malarbor's announcements table.3) If announcements change, keep the text you have up there currently in tiny print across the bottom of the Malarbor's announcements table as a slogan or something (actually, this would be more MiniInt's job, but yeah...)4) Change the godawful thread background colours (in posts). I like them fine the way they are on this (bshireroth) board.5) Also in threads, keep the New Topic / Reply buttons that we have here, or better yet - the ones in Yardistan!Oh, and one last thing - - I've appointed you Minister of the Interior Pro-Tempore, so if you want to test it here, you have the powers now... HOWEVER - if you do, I want you to keep a running list of every single little thing you change, and post it in the Ministry of the Interior, so if things go bad, I can go back and fix 'em... not that I have more technical skill than you or anything... er... The actual forums, as I think I said above, are not what I want here. I don't want to change anything at all about the colors. The "shriveled bell pepper" is supposed to be a mango. Yes, I like the fixed scene thing, it gives the forum a sophisticated air. Malarbor as a slave to the Ministry of the Interior definitely appeals to me over Malarbor the stupid piosa cac that won't let us do anything with Shireroth, ever. No, I'm not using the colors there.Yes, according to the Shireroth Bill of Rights Yardistanis have the right to revolt.Yeah...that is supposed to be a mango...but it does look kinda orange-ish. Here are the mango icons I've managed to find online.A. B. C. D. (if people like this one, I can transparify it)Which of these do you like best?
