Let's seee....I think the first bit means:Suppression of abuseAcrid addictive blaze (I assume that's what it's meant to mean, the closest I could find to addictis was addictus, which was bondsman, and I didn't think that fitted)Although they don't look to be connected really..The second part:The set day of anger, the set day of fame/that set dayThe generations melt in ashesSomething about David when Sybilla..How greatly the future is shakingWhen the judges are breezy (?),Reluctant, superficially and running hither and thitherThe last bit:Save me, from this duty/filial affection/honour/etc.Sorry I couldn't be more clear, but I only did a short bit of Latin. It is better that Eoin speaks Irish than it would be if he were to speak Latin. After all, it did help me to win a t-shirt contest :P Of course, so did very intricate celtic knots...but the "Tog é go bog é!" certainly helped some people make up their minds. -Gryphon Avocatio- Lord Governor and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Research and Education, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - SAVE THE KIWI!! - Lover of Llamas "You're intense and driven. I did. I sparked a wee debate amongst the president and one of the officers of the club (but that officer is a wee bit of a bitch). But he said it fit the club nicely and voted for it...as did many others...my only serious competition was a rugby shirt that particular officer made at the last minute...so, eoin, I thank you much...i owe you a pint of root beer or fanta or something...and once we've got them made, i'll post a picca or something of it...(aye, let me gloat...this sort of thing happening to be is quite rare).and I've months of Yardistani History lessons to write...and a spanish class...and a Yardistani language class....and the SHIRE....hmm...I should probably start that...it's kinda big.... -Gryphon Avocatio- Lord Governor and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Research and Education, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - SAVE THE KIWI!! - Lover of Llamas "You're intense and driven. It's part of a rather depressing Catholic hymn about Judgment Day. The part you posted means (and thank you, Google):After the accursed have been silenced, given up to the bitter flames,The Day of Wrath, the day thatwill dissolve the world into burning coals,as David bore witness with the Sibyll. How great a tremor is to be,when the judge is to comebriskly shattering every (grave).Save me, O fount of piety!
