You can't be steward, Arbiter AND Deputy Praetor. You shouldn't even be Deputy while you are Arbiter.
Re: Fishday Decree #B
BY ORDER OF THE STEWARD
Erik Mortis is hereby made Arbiter of Shireroth.
Jonas Windsor is hereby made Deputy Prætor of Shireroth.

You're not steward
Re: Fishday Decree #B
So... I would be both Prætor and Deputy Prætor? Sounds a bit silly.CJ Miller wrote:BY ORDER OF THE STEWARD

Besides, this is one of the only things in which the Steward or Kaiser can't interfere. Landsraad business you know.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

If Corey or Shyriath wanna make me Arbiter, I'd take it. Not saying I'll do anything much... but yeah. But, they are the only ones that have the power to make me such. Though you could make me Asst. Arbiter.

Re: Fishday Decree #B
I'd have to be elected into that position. Once again, a job I'd take.
Re: Fishday Decree #B
So, we still need a new Steward...

I'd run, but with my semi-LOA and limited Internet, such an involved position as Steward, with its intensive legislative scrutinizing and record-keeping of votes and other important data, would be too time consuming at this time.

That's the Praetor. The Steward is basically the vice-Kaiser, and when there is an emotionally stable Kaiser on the throne, the job tends to consist of sitting around and maybe occasionally assigning ministers or something.
No-one should be without a parasol, Sirocco.

Re: Fishday Decree #B
There is some of that.
Re: Fishday Decree #B
OR ISN'T THERE?
No, I'm pretty sure that it's a nifty job with some prestige. As Steward, you can brag if the Kaiser during your term was a good one. And in case it was a terrible Kaiser, you can say that you never really supported Him in His policies.

I would run for Steward, but I think that would cause Shieroth to implode.
I am confusing, have a wiki article to help: Link-a-dink
