Today is a sad day..........
.........we can either do #8, or watch the Kaiser dissolve Yardistan.
Yardistan that owned Shireroth at on time.
This is a sad day. Mayhaps I should have waited another month to come home.

I try not to look on things in a negative fashion. Times change, and along with it the people and places change as well.
Yardistan will live on in our hearts and souls. And in lieu of it we shall set the stage with three new Houses. Effectively this multiplies the influence of Yardistan threefold, since there will be three distinct units of Yardistani-influenced culture. So let's put our best foot forward, try our damndest, and see if we can't make this new system work for us rather than against us.

Come and join Kildare... :P
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Choices-
1-
Suck it up, be a good soldier.
Easy, go along get along. Boring and out of character.
2-
Leave.
Also easy, traditional response when a nation screws up. Been there, done that as well.
3-
Secede
Very tempting. Anarchy of Yardistan. Historical continuity.
4-
Rebel without secession.
My normal gut reaction. Completely in character. Must consult.

Your Niftyness.
You have my continuing respect as a Founder an innovator, and any action on my part will wait until it can be taken in a spirit of fun.
I agree that something needs to invigorate the country. Basing such on the seizing of the vast majority of the nation as Imperial property, and creating competing Cults of Personality seems in my gut of guts to be the wrong decision. But what do I know?
Most of the MN's that I have surveyed seem to be in a doldrum at this time.
IMHO, empty Counties should go to the appropriate baron, empty Baronies should go to their Duke. Of course, in dire straits, the Kaiser could replace a TOTALLY "dud" Duke.
The land grab just feels so wrong.
Do I have another suggestion? Not at this time. That is what prevents me from raising the flag of rebellion - at this time.

You seem to be focusing a lot on this "land grab" you speak of. You do know that land isn't being used by the government for anything, nor was it being used by anyone else really. I don't have time to talk , as have work. But the reclaiming of lands isn't some all powerful plot, like you make it sound to be.
