Re: [Stormark] Joining the Unified Currency Treaty
Welcome Harold.
Stormark's ascension to the SCUE would certainly make it by far the biggest micronational economy in terms of no. of participants. As such I of course welcome it. In the spirit of enquiry, however, I'd like to ask a few questions, to get a better idea of why Stormark wants to join and how they would participate.
1. How many active citizens (who are not already participating in the Small Commonwealth United Economy - eg yourself, Andelarion, Corey etc ...) does Stormark have who would now be joining the SCUE? Ie how many new citizens would be added in your starting allocation of funds?
2. Does Stormark currently have any sort of functioning economy?
3. Is Stormark intending to institute any sort of regular taxes on its citizens?
I ask the third because currently all members of the SCUE don't have regular taxes on their citizens. There are provisions for one-off taxes if the government needs funds, but no regular taxes. While the SCUC Treaty provides the provision that accounts are under the tax laws (if any) of the country in which they are registered; and Stormark does not have many dual citizens with Shireroth, to my knowledge; I'd personally prefer if the SCUE continued to have no regular tax within any of the member nations, because that resolves problems of divided loyalties and tax evasion by not having anything to evade.

Nelaga has no objections. Welcome, Stormark!
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

A week has passed without any objections, I have therefore signed the Unified Currency Treaty.
