Oh come on. I think that Ardy would make an excellent Kaiser! I will however make sure that I have the codes to the SDI before hand. But a good one none the less.

Not that you'd know but I first mooted the name with Eoin way back in 2005, just before the GC torpedoed my chances (heh). Fair enough, I've got Sardanapalus as the reserve option but I'd prefer Ozymandias as its snappier... I was going to say lets toss a coin for it but there is no reason why there can't be a I & II.

Hmm...
Oh well, I've had it once, sorta. Reynardine I's full name was Reynardine Ozymandias Llewellyn van der Sluijs. Hey, whoever gets the throne first gets it, eh? It's probably a pretty even race (slightly favoring you, considering my past performance).

Ari would never give me the throne! I was last on the list to be Duke of Kildare!

There's something so...newbieish and attention-seeking about a "I" Kaiser name. Why not go with something tried and true, something with historical value? All it takes is a quick question to the right person, and you could be Ikol II, or Raynor XII, or Alejian III, maybe even Paul VI.

All in good fun Scott. All in good fun. Plus historical value is so hard to come by these days.

Re: Imperial Decree #365: Steward and IAC
I was actually considering taking the name Ikol II next time I get the throne. It probably wouldn't nearly suit me, though, considering my Yardistani tendencies.
But I took the name Reynardine for the purpose of some fun in the history of the Swnndyrrr. I also like the name.

I like that. Reminds me of "svindyr" in Swedish. Means "really expensive". I've heard it somewhere...Oroigawa Koreyasu wrote:Swnndyrrr

Re: Imperial Decree #365: Steward and IAC
Actually, I find this to be a good time to provide a little history revolving around that Kaisership...
Before taking the throne, Reynardine (known then as Llewellynn Rottsaa) was ytteirsal of the combined Swnndyrrr tribes. Reynardine is the patron god of the Swnndyrrr people, as well as god of royalty and clear thought. This made the name an ideal choice for a Swnndyrrr Kaiser (in the mind of Llewellyn). The rest of the Swnndyrrr, however, disagreed. They believed that taking the name of their patron god was putting one at the same level as a god. The tribes voted to remove Rottsaa as ytteirsal, and they left Lesser Attera, shamed by their former leader, choosing to follow their new leader, Konsteran Yossen (aka Ionel Constantinescu), to live in Hurmu.

From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

I still say "Duchy of Babkha" or "(Persian word close to Duchy) of Babkha" makes sense..........unless Babkha resurrects itself first.
I'd even volunteer to be Duke.
Loki II came within a milimeter of naming Ardy, but since he was (mostly) an anti-Kaiser.....
