Status of the islands

The Skyla Islands are hereby declared a Military Protection Zone. No person without special Ducal permission may visit the islands. The main island houses the Lamifo Land Forces Training Facility. The Isle of Myn is declared the private property of the Duke and is strictly off limits.

And don't bother arguing that it wasn't signed by you and therefore invalid. It was signed by Prodigy, the Duke of Yardistan at the time, so it is more than valid.

Now that this prima facie case has ly been sorted out, maybe we can get back to the real issue of contention between our two noble Duchies that is the Vorpmadal posts that still reside in Neurak's forum?

They are a part of the Imperial County as the home of Your Niftiness' summer retreat.

I did make some maps before. I'll try to find them again. I always imagined that there were no cities, just villages, since I pictured the islands as sort of sandy and Pacific-y.

Voilá! The mainland map is of Musica, the islands are named, from the north, the Isle of Aroth, the Isle of Myn and the Isle of Skyla.

Because these isles don't get developed, I would like to propose that I donate them to Straylight (currently a barony, but who knows what the future brings?).

Isn't it kinda up to the Kaiser to make sure someone develops them? And if they should go to a subdivision it should be back to Brookshire, or POSSIBLY Yardistan. Not to Straylight, since they don't have any land save for the sancts.

The Kaiser(s) have their hands full with rebellions, leading the nation, etc. and when they want to spend time to develop the Imperial County, there will always be someone who nags about the lack of attention to other parts of the Empire.
For clear reasons I will never give Shirekeep to Brookshire or some other Duchy: the claim to which duchy it belongs is more contested then those of the isles (mostly because of its importance). I say this to avoid further debate about that subject.

Brookshire has enough land already (especially if they merge with Goldshire), while I indeed considered Yardistan. But if it becomes Straylight territory, then it is Yardistan. The only thing that stops me is my doubt about the opinion of the Straylightians: they aren't used to have land, and I don't know if they will accept the offer.

Please, the threats and aggressive remarks start to get very annoying. It's like you can't do anything else...
Instead of saying: "If you're gonna give them to someone except me, expect consequences.", you could try to be a bit nicer and say something like: "I made maps, developed it myself, etc., so I would prefer to keep it an Imperial County. Or at least you could give it to the one who developed it (me)."

If you had just remembered me of that, I would have (fully?) agreed with you.
But it's not because you made a map, that it belongs to you forever. In that case you probably wouldn't have anything to develop here.

I hadn't decided anything, it was a suggestion. I'm sad that you misunderstood the meaning of my first post.
