Barons!

Post by Gman Russell »

1- Prodigy, Jess, as my barons you would have more use out of the Diet. Keep it, or scrap it? Your call.

2- How many active cits do we have in this duchy anyway?

3- Can someone explain (or point out the thread) to me the situation in Lac Glacei? I was inactive at the time of their inclusion.

4-Bah, I think I actually have to give a shit about the economy now, Prodigy, help me out?

5- Benkern, what are you up to with Vorpmadal, and how can I help?

6- Jess (and Mike Fors as Bailiff of Lac Glacei), are their going to be problems with you and I? Is all forgiven and forgotten, or should I watch my back?

5. Benkern wants the name Vorpmadal again. I say that you may buy the right to use the name Vorpmadal from Brookshire. What are you willing to offer? At least three figures or I'm not listening.

6. I resigned as Bailiff so you can remove my mod powers there, or Ari can. As for the other, there's no problem, but you should always watch your back. :evil

Me, you, Jess, Prodge, active. Jacobus, on leave. Nick... permanent LOA. Gilrean, thin air.
3- Can someone explain (or point out the thread) to me the situation in Lac Glacei? I was inactive at the time of their inclusion.
Ummm I believe Lac Glacei has been here as long as I have. I think it's just a spare territo- wait, it's not a territory, it's just a subdivisional entity. Like a Barony, but with no counties. Jacobus gifted it to us I think, and it's quite a nifty place, and it was a clump of filth just waiting to be merged into something great. H4773r 3lfs0n, someone you may or may not remember (Vorpmadal man! good man :)) was made Sheriff... he disappeared, in his absence I made Mikey Bailiff... he resigned. So now it is in limbo, again. I want to make it part of the new and improved Barony of Vorpmadal, but it is yours to do whatever you like with.
5- Benkern, what are you up to with Vorpmadal, and how can I help??
Well, I want Vorpmadal back from Brookshire. I won't bore you with the whole terrible tale but basically it flicks between us and Brookshire/Elwynn (used to be a superduchy together I think?) and Kildare if I remember right. I want to KEEP IT HERE this time. Mike seems to want to sell it. While reasonable, far more reasonable would be for him to just give us it... but it doesn't look like he sees things the same way. :p I'll negotiate something, and if he wants to make us pay, I'll do it out of mine own pocket or we can have a fundraiser or something. I just need you to smile and nod ;) that is if you agree with the prospect of Yardistan regaining Vorpmadal and making me its Baron?

Benkern- If it's legal and you want it, Lac Glacei is yours to have in the Barony of (hopefully) Vorpmadal here in yardistan. Three barons... good...

I like it. Even if we don't use it too often, it's useful to have around in case something very important comes up in the Landsraad that we want to comment on. I say keep it.

As far as I can see, the money we have as individuals and as the duchy can be used to buy:

1. Voting credits for 100 erb each to support us in the Landsraad
2. SCIRA units to create standing armies in defense of the duchy or individual baronies and counties, or private armies per person
3. Various other sundries that are up for sale wherever you find them

A- Jess, do you accept Greg as Duke of Yardistan?

B- Lac Glacei. Well, since this

http://shireroth.kuroshiro.net/forum/vi ... f=7&t=7846

probably wasn't put in the Lawbook, it might go back to being a Brigadoon, or my personal property (with certain rights to Ryan.
