I respectfully draw Your Niftyness' attention.......

Post by Jacobus Loki »

I don't want to be directly responsible for removal of Loki III's amendments, since I told him I wouldn't remove them. But if the Landsraad presents me with an acceptable new charter that I approve of, I will decree it.
But you are willing to indirectly break your word. :angry You can preserve it by making sure the gist of my amendments is included in a new charter.

One Duke , One Vote.
Anyone may have counsel of their choice.

Sometimes, as Erik said, the job isn't fun. But then there are the other days........

Neither of those things should be in the Charter. Whether I agree with them or not (I agree with one of them in principle), they do not belong in the Charter...Period.

There are no rights in Shireroth! And the Landsraad sets its own procedures!

Lord Jacobus, I am willing to let the nation decide for herself the path it should take. It is not my place to force it in one direction or another when so many are distressed and so much work is lost. I've done what I can to preserve what you've done, but honestly, this is the best way to deal with the situation.

I surely hope you didn't leave me with this mess in hopes that I'd follow you blindly like Jonas and Jess. I do not bend to pressure from anyone, I do what I feel is right. I kept my word to the best of my ability, but, while you find your amendments to the charter fair and just, I find leaving the nation collectively to find it's own path the most fair and just decision I could make.

Yes, Jacobus, they follow you blindly, like it has been said people follow Erik blindly. Surely you are self-aware enough to notice this.

Blindly? So if I follow Jake in his opinion then I'm blindly following him? I'm doing what I feel is right, so you don't need blame me for that. You do exactly the same.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki
Can't you see? I'm crazy! :tomcutterhamonfire :smashy
