Provisional DiploCorps Ranking System and Roles

Alright, so once recruited, those interested in a career in the Corps will start out at the lowest rank of Corps Officer, or CorpOff for short. CorpOffs will be dispatched to nations with which Shireroth has treaties to remind them of our continued friendship and/or concern about their current path. The use of CorpOffs will depend on how the Kaiser perceives our impact upon the micronational community at large. CorpOffs may be used in connection with MINT in order to achieve the maximum awareness of Shireroth's existence.If CorpOffs excel in their role, they will be promoted to Corps Negotiator, or CorpNeg. Their role then will be to seek out new nations to contact and, if they consider them to be a worthwhile ally for the Imperial Republic, to approach them with recognition and perhaps a bilateral agreement in mind. CorpNegs would be empowered to open negotiations for a treaty, but the actual details must be worked out at home.Above CorpNegs are Corps Division Heads. This is a supplementary rank, to provide for extreme growth in DiploCorps. CorpsDHs would be allocated a handful of Offs and Negs to oversee in the case that the CorpSec cannot monitor all Corps personnell at once owing to other duties. Anyone above CorpNeg can be made a CorpDH, without the need for demotion.Corps Consuls, or CorpCons, will be responsible for continuous diplomatic missions to a number of micronational states not exceeding three in number. Their task will be to provide status reports on these nations to the MiniEx. They will work with the MiniEx and SHINE closely in monitoring nations which Shireroth is concerned about. In essence, CorpCons are the special forces of the DiploCorps "army".Above CorpCon is the really cushy position of Corps Ambassador, or CorpAmba. The CorpAmba is a member of the Corps who has shown outstanding service in all areas they have been put to, and who holds citizenship in one of the nations they have been allocated as a watch-area. They are designated Ambassador to that nation, and allowed act as the Kaiser's envoy to that state. They are allowed negotiate treaties with that nation, remembering that they owe their diplomatic loyalty to the Imperial Republic. Treaties must of course be approved by the Landsraad.Overseeing all this is the Corps Secretary, who unless things change will usually be the MiniEx. The CorpSec arranges duties and promotions and reports to the Kaiser about diplomatic efforts made by the various personnell. The CorpSec is second only to the feudal lords that Corps officers pay fealty to, and their orders must be obeyed, unless they contravene Shirerithian law.
